Rueda de Casino is a Cuban style of Salsa Dancing. The History of the name comes from after 1959, gambling casinos were closed and some of them reopened as dance halls. At the beginning, people kept calling the dance halls casinos, and as a result, became part of the name. It is a dance of two or more couples, if there are more than two couples the dance is done in Rueda (circle). There is one lea

Dancing in the Rueda keeps you on your toes for the constant exchanging of dance partners, so be sure to listen to your Leader! Janna Crews, Community Director, of the Rueda de Casino in Reno strives to share this Cuban Culture and expand the community in the Reno, NV area.
