It starts as an open, easy-loading tote for everyday carry, race-day overflow, and post-ride gear—then converts into a more contained duffel with a removable structured lid when things get wet, dirty, or harder to manage. There was a time when winter meant rollers in a basement and powder days were just distractions. When life revolved around watts, results, and riding more.

But somewhere along the way, the bike stopped being the goal—and became the tool.

A few weeks ago, we pedaled 9 miles deep into Lassen Volcanic National Park, skis strapped to our packs, chasing something different. Not a podium. Not a power file. Just the kind of silence you can only earn.

It'll be our first time there - closest we came in the past was when we hooked the Cyclingtips guys up with bike cases and they rode to and from the airport. No rental car all weekend.
