The Biggest Little Shimmy School of Burlesque The Biggest Little Shimmy School of Burlesque has been training Reno's top talent since 2008. Organized by the Desert Rose Revue's Reagan Riot.

Our mission is to promote proper education and provide a quality foundation for those interested in learning the art of burlesque and its rich and extravagant history. We offer individual, group, and event classes ranging from burlesque basics to full performance bootcamps. If we don't offer a class you're looking for it's likely that we are working to develop it and if not it's likely that we be

having a guest instructor soon who does! Please feel free to share your desires and dreams with us and we will certainly always do our best TO assist and point you in the right direction to follow your passion!

We tend to keep things traditional with FunDamental class structures and classic music, however we'll be working with some local DJ's to construct some mashups! First on the list of new workshops w/ group numbers will be Hairography! It'll take some time to get the mixes just right, but look out for our new Winter 2020 class releases! Tech isn't always helpful when updates don't save correctly...We've updated all of our correspondence linking apps and have done an overhaul correcting all page updates and info so registration should be smooth as can be from now on!

Burlesque legend Camille 2000 (Camille Sands) passed away today after a lengthy battle with cancer. “The Girl for Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow” was awarded our 2019 Living Legend Award for her contribution to burlesque. Her work, like her signature "Marquis de Sade" act, consistently pushed against and expanded the boundaries of the art. More than that, she was an active supporter of today's neo-burlesque performers, with a vocal online presence and a steady stream of performances at festivals and local events. She will be deeply missed.
