We are celebrating the 67th season at Washoe Little League! Opening Day festivities! Here is the breakdown of our Opening Day events:
8:00 AM: The doors open!
8:00 – 9:30:
Pancake breakfast sponsored by South 40 on Field 3: All WLL players in uniform will get a plate with pancakes, sausage, fruit, and some juice totally free. Adults get the same for $10 and additional kids 12 and under for $5.
Raffle Sales: Check out the raffle prizes and buy your raffle tickets for a chance to win! $5 for 1 ticket, $20 for 5 tickets, $100 for your wingspan worth of tickets!
Bounce Houses! Let the little ones have some fun at the bounce houses on Field 3!
Hitting Raffle: Get your player out there hitting to win some prizes! $10 for five balls. Players will hit the ball into the field. If you hit it into a bucket, you win a prize!
Home Run Derby Sign Ups: Open to all baseball and softball players league age 11-12. The homerun derby will start at 11. Note: Only USA stamped bats are eligible for the competition for baseball, 1.20 BPF labeled bats for softball.
9:40 - 10:00
Teams get in place: Tee Ballers meet with their teams in the outfield of Field 4 to get ready for the tee ball procession during the ceremony. Have your cameras ready tee ball families!
All non-tee ball teams meet with their team in the outfield of Field 1.
10:00: Opening Day Ceremonies begin! We will officially kick off the season with the national anthem, welcome our new baseball and softball players, congratulate our 2025 All Stars, unleash the tee ball teams processional, throw out the first pitch for baseball and softball.
11:00 – 1:00: Home Run Derby on Fields 1 & 4: Time to watch the boys and girls mash!
11:00-1:00: Raffle winners announced!
