Christmas Week is upon us everyone! Here is the Christmas Schedule this week for our SGT Classes! Monday & Tuesday will be a full class schedule and an Open Workout at 9 am Christmas Eve Day! All Gym Members are welcome to participate in the class on Wednesday Morning! If you have any friends or family that would also wish to participate that are not a member of Parkway Athletic Club buy them a day pass and we'll get them into the class. There will be no class Christmas Day or the Day after the Christmas. New Years Schedule will be similar!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! Before we all Feast! Let us take the chance to honor our powerful bodies with an Epic Thanksgiving Workout at Parkway Athletic Club 9 am!!! Bound to be a Blast!!! Our 2nd Adventure this year was definitely awesome! However, we look to build on that momentum even further with our 3rd Adventure at the beautiful Echo Lake!!!

The Echo Lakes Trail is 5.3 miles of absolutely gorgeous terrain that shall take around 2 hours or so to complete! This is a there and back again trail that is kid friendly, allows dogs, and is a great place for bird watchers! The hike is only a little over a 500 elevation gain. So, it should only provide adequate challenge and is very beginner friendly! The hike does offer extended trails to Lake Aloha and the Lake of the Woods for those seeking a longer and a bit more time with nature. Although, I will not guarantee that I (or anyone else) would be adventuring forth with you. If anyone chooses to proceed further along either of those trails. (You may also need a wilderness permit to proceed past Echo Lakes.) There is also a taxi boat at the if anyone would like to enjoy being on the water for a bit!

Hike begins at 8 am! For anyone who wishes to carpool or help with carpooling. We shall leave the parking lot of Parkway Athletic Club (Double Diamond) at 6:30 am. Anyone & Everyone is welcome! If you wish to join please bring family and friends along with you! It's going to be beautiful and fun! For all potential hikers and nature enthusiast. I advise you bring water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, and proper hiking and or exercise attire. I as always shall have some snacks and water with me! Hope to have a lot of you join us and experience some nature!

July 26th we're bringing back The Great Outdoor Adventures once again! This time we shall travel to Round Lake Trail out in Emigrant Gap, California. This is a 4.9 out and back trail with beautiful views! It is a great place to fish, camp, and explore with your dogs! Anyone is welcome to join us! Hike is projected to take a little over 2 hours to complete. Assuming we aren't all too consumed by the views. Hahaha!

Plans are to head out at 6:30 am. So that way the hike may start at 8 am tentatively! We will meet at Parkway Athletic Club - Sparks for anyone who wishes to carpool! Please, let us know ahead of time if you wish to help us out with car pooling ahead of time. Remember everyone to bring water, snacks, bug spray, sun block, and proper hiking attire.

SGT will only be at 7 AM tomorrow morning in honor of Memorial Day we will be hitting the Fallen Hero Workout known as Billy. For those of you who know me. You already know what this workout means to me as it commemorates my brother who died in May of 2021. Due to an armed break-in of my brothers home. While the perpetrator(s) may have never been convicted. I created this workout with the help of (Thank you for keeping this workout on your website.) to remember and honor my brother a Marine, Devil Dog, and True Patriot.

Please come to the gym at 7 am to participate. Workout will be open for everyone! Modifications will be available for some of the workout. If anyone has any questions, feel free to DM, Email, or Call me! I'll answer as best I can! Workout Details can be found below!

Sorry everyone!!! We shall be rescheduling the hike that was set for the 17th for the 24th instead! Hopefully, a lot of you can still make it! I know some of you were really looking forward to it this next weekend!

With that said, we still plan to meet at the Thunder Mountain Trailhead. Which is a 5.9 there and back again trail that has beautiful scenic views of the Olympic Valley area and should take 3 to 4 hours to complete. It's dog friendly and everyone is welcome! The hike start time is 8 o'clockish. If you'd wish to carpool. Just let me know and we can plan a meet up point for everyone prior to driving out to the trail. Finally, please be sure to bring proper hiking attire, as well as snacks, water, bug spray, and sunscreen.

After we finish the adventure I plan to go to Timber Creek Restaurant where we can all eat! For further questions, please feel free to reach out and message me!!!

Alright, Conditioning Crew! I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend! I have some news that's going to affect everyone. So.... Here it goes.

I was offered a job as the Athletic Director of Parkway Athletics Friday Morning. The stipulation was that upon accepting the offer. I would have to fold Cedric's Conditioning. After 3 interviews, trying to find ways to promote the gym, financial stress, and a lot of going back and forth within myself. I've decided to accept the offer. This week will be the final week Cedric's Conditioning will be open under its own banner. So, if you're able. Please come by the gym for a workout. With that said, Parkway Athletics would like me to continue my small group classes at their location in Sparks near Scheels. For those of you who wish to continue. You are all grandfathered into the program that is going to be running there. If you have questions about your membership please contact me privately. If you have questions about the classes and Parkway Athletics ask away.

I am sad to close something I put so much effort into and even more sad when I consider everyone who believed in me and helped along the way. However, I am also very excited to begin a new chapter. Where I will no longer have to worry about sustaining my own paycheck, creating all the programs alone, coming up with shreds and other promotions all the time, wondering if I'll be able to care for my parents as they get older, and be able to lead a regular life of my own. I hope at least some of not all of you venture forward on this journey with me. Though, I also understand that some are going to have to do whatever is best for you. Thank you everyone for your love and continued support!

Introducing our March 2025 MEMBER OF THE MONTH, Ashley Duke!!!

Ashley (Also referred to as Duke Nukem) joined up with us back spring of 2021! She's been loyal to us ever since! Ashley always comes in with enthusiasm and is never afraid to speak her mind! Whether she has a particular love for the workout or no. You will know! Hahaha! This is simply part of her endearment as she's always getting along well with others and has a fiercely caring and kind spirit! She has brought in a number of our members into our facility always trying to get friends, coworkers, and family to try out our place! Ashley is great about checking in on others and very intuitive with how people are feeling. She's even good at checking in on me!

Ashley has the best Olympic Lifts in the Business! Her form is flawless and my hope and dream is to get all of my gym members to her level! Ashley is consistent and works hard. With most of her emphasis on technique! She's great at staying on task (as long as her and her sister Emily aren't arguing), understanding instruction, and great at asking questions for the purpose of movements. All-in-All Ashley is a great student, support, and friend!

Excited to announce that Jianping Ma will be returning to Reno, Nevada April 26th & 27th for both a LVL 1 & LVL 2 Chinese Weightlifting Seminar! This is an Olympic Weightlifting Seminar taught in a similar fashion to the Chinese Olympic Weightlifting Team by one of it's former instructors and is the current coach of Missouri Valley College Weightlifting Team! This a grand opportunity to learn from a truly experienced, intelligent, and amazing coach!

Jianping will be here for 2 days to teach giving you a chance to acquire both a LVL 1 and LVL 2 cert! While attending both is not mandatory. Attending the LVL 2 will require your LVL 1 cert. If you already have your LVL 1 from a previous seminar with Jianping you will receive $50 off on your LVL 2 or if you choose to do a refresher.

April 26th Seminar LVL 1 will teach you the core fundamentals in the concepts of Olympic Weightlifting with emphasis on the Chinese Style. What you will learn;
