Clooney and Walter Canine Medical Assistance fund has a fabulous fundraiser dinner this weekend here in Reno, but no matter where you are, you can participate in the silent auction, 50/50 raffle as well as regular raffle. Today’s field trip was all about learning how to navigate exciting new environments with calm brains and good choices — and Toby & Riker absolutely delivered!

We focused on arousal management and keeping experiences positive and thoughtful while exploring new sights, sounds, and smells. Even when a couple unexpected surprises popped up along the way, these two handled it like perfect gentlemen. Calm, curious, and ready to work as a team.

To celebrate a job well done, the boys wrapped up their adventure with a swim in beautiful Lake Tahoe — the perfect ending to a very good day. 🌲🌊

Today’s Adventure Camp MVPs: Leo and Bandit. 🐾

These little Rat Terrier legends took on Northstar and Kings Beach like absolute pros — conquering metal see-through stairs, elevators, crowds of excited kids, and all kinds of busy urban distractions with confidence, teamwork, and bravery.

Not every victory looks flashy. Sometimes it looks like tiny dogs choosing courage one step at a time. 💙

🐍 We’ve officially seen our first rattlesnake of the season in Northern Nevada — which means our summer adventures shift into Snake Safe mode!

At Revolution Dog Sports Canine Gym, this time of year is all about helping dogs safely enjoy hiking, sniffing, exploring, and outdoor enrichment while building smart habits around wildlife awareness.

A few reminders as temperatures rise:
• Stay on trails whenever possible
• Keep dogs close and on leash in high-risk areas
• Avoid tall brush, rock piles, and shaded overhangs
• Be extra cautious during early mornings and evenings
• Carry water, a leash, and know where the nearest emergency vet is located

Snake encounters can happen quickly, even with experienced dogs. Awareness, preparation, and thoughtful handling go a long way toward keeping adventures safe and enjoyable.

Just as importantly, our snake friends want to be left alone. Rattlesnakes are an important part of the ecosystem and play a valuable role in controlling rodent populations and maintaining balance in our environment. Giving wildlife space and respecting their habitat helps keep everyone — humans, dogs, and snakes — safer.

This also means some of our Adventure Camp outings and enrichment activities will begin focusing on snake-safe summer skills, trail awareness, engagement around distractions, and thoughtful outdoor movement.
