If you haven't already seen her around the swim school, we want you to meet Loretta! Mr Craig did it again and 3d printed us a porch goose. As you can see, our kids are loving her! Check these two out, both sporting our favorite FINIS Swim goggles.

💦 Why We Focus on Breath Control—not “Blowing Bubbles”

Breath control is one of the most important foundational skills for little swimmers. 💙

When we tell children to “blow bubbles” underwater, we’re teaching them to release the air they need. Instead, we want them to learn to take a breath, hold it while submerged, and come back to the surface before breathing again. We do this by building that breath control up to a 10 count. Knowing they can come up at 10 gives them the confidence to focus on the skills they are working on.

Little ones become calmer and more intentional with their breathing in the water—building confidence and a strong foundation.

✨ Bubbles are fun for play, but breath control is the skill we want to build.
