Who wants to start riding again? We're planning to restart weekend rides, covid cases are down, vaccinations are up, and the weather is great! Masks will, still be required for the near future, but as vaccinations rise that requirement will become optional in the near future!

Attention UNR students!

UNR's Nevada Public Health Training Center has reached out to us to help spread the word of their Covid Trace App initiative with the University. They are raffling off an IPad to UNR students as a way to get more people to share the post and their mission of helping lower the case load of covid on campus, and to keep the wolf pack safe!

Remember your mask, COVID numbers in Washoe County are the worst they've been so far, so we need to take extra care to be able to still do the group rides we enjoy!

Hey RenoEsk8! This week we are going to be riding Route 3 - Virginia Lake. If you want a detailed map of the ride, check the pinned post about the RenoEsk8 Google map! Meeting at our usual UNR meeting location (also on the map)

Meet at 6:00PM, and we'll roll out at 6:30PM. If you have lights, bring em. We:ll probably be getting back to UNR at sundown, or slightly after.

This route has some sections where we ride in the street with no bike lane. We haven't had major issues since it is wide, and the speed limit is only 25mph. If you're uncomfortable with this, feel free to reach out to me. Our other routes have seperate bike paths so you'd be able to hit those in the future.

Since this is an on-road ride, helmets are strongly reccomended. Masks are required to ride with the group!

Lastly: Mark if you're going, or comment/message me if you will be there and you've won something from our online giveaway! I've slacked on getting that stuff to everyone, but things have calmed down so I'll start distributing them at rides or another way if you prefer!
