MY DEAR FRIEND SINCE 4TH GRADE! 2022 left with an unexpected ending. My friend Jordanna passed away suddenly overnight. She was a year younger than me, and it is still such a shock! We hung out together every summer when I went home to visit my parents in WI.
The last couple years, we did a photoshoot on the beach together, picked out her new kitten, went shopping, tried on clothes, dressed up, experimented with makeup and hairstyles, did thrift store shopping, ate out, went on picnics, toasted marshmallows for smores, went hiking in the park, got ice cream, worked out in the gym, did cardio, played games, and so much more!
I asked her if she wanted to join me and one of my sons for a day at Six Flags Great America. Her dad had taken us there as kids, and turned out she had NOT been there since! We spent the entire day reminiscing, telling private jokes, riding all the coasters, and making new memories. T
She was afraid to try the coasters, but my son and I talked her into going on all of them! She loved them and we had an absolute blast just like we did when we were there together as kids!
We got there the second the amusement park opened and were in line long after it closed. So grateful that we had that incredibly special day together, as it turned out to be the last time I got to spend with her. In 2023, make it a priority to take care of your health, hold your loved ones close, and cherish every moment!
