Following the chaos of a holiday (or to escape the chaos of Black Friday), find a place of quiet solitude and refill your cup.
Yin Yoga is the place where you are able to stop the doing and start the being. It is a quiet, thoughtful practice that involves supporting the body with props and relaxing into poses for longer periods of time (generally 3-5 mins). This practice targets the connective tissues, bones and joints through the stillness of long held postures. Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, it can help increase or restore mobility, provides space to turn inwards and helps to down-regulate our often overly stimulated nervous systems, engaging our parasympathetic (rest/relax) nervous system.
