🎉 It’s MEGASTAR DAY! 🎉

Megastar is the Mid-Michigan Meet of Champions held every year in Shepherd. It is an absolutely massive event with 156 schools participating this year! Only athletes who meet the qualifying standards may compete – but those qualifying standards are TOUGH! Every year the meet organizers raise the bar and make the standards harder to reach, but the athletes keep rising to the challenge!

Qualifying for Megastar is a major accomplishment and our athletes have been working hard all season for the opportunity to participate in this meet!

We have 22 athletes who qualified this year! Today, they’ll get to compete among Mid-Michigan's best middle school track athletes.

The Megastar meet is held at Shepherd High School. Field events begin at 2:45 PM and running events start at 3:30 PM. If you are planning to attend, please allow for extra time to find parking. This meet is MASSIVE and draws thousands of people, so traffic and parking near the school get very congested. Admission is $5. This is a fun meet to watch with lots of outstanding races, jumps, and throws!

Our Warriors had a great day at the Northern Michigan Meet of Champions yesterday and brought home two more trophies! The boys took 3rd place in the Division 3 competition earning 84 points. The girls team tied for 2nd in Division 3 with 89 points. Lots of excellent races and PR’s all over!
