**ATTENTION FRIENDS - RELIEF FOR WESTERN NC**
We are heading down to NC next week to help with relief and recovery, and we want to load up our 4-horse trailer with as many supplies as possible for the people and animals in need.
This Sunday (10/6) we will be at the Tractor Supply parking lot in Warrenton, VA from 12pm-5pm if you would like to donate anything to send with us. Alternatively, you can purchase items online at Tractor Supply, Giant, or Walmart in Warrenton under my name or Cindy Stewart, and we will pick up everything no later than Monday (10/7) by 5pm.
We are working with a few different partners and here is what we are told is most needed for both people and animals:
• WATER
• Non-perishable food items
• Can openers
• Diapers
• Formula
• Feminine products
• Empty gas cans
• Disinfecting wipes
• Hygiene products like toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, hair brushes, etc.
• First aid equipment (antiseptic, bandages, gauze, etc.)
• Paper towels
• Toilet paper
• Paper plates and utensils
• Big trash bags
• Gallon Ziploc bags
• Blankets
• Clothing and shoes for kids and adults
• Zip ties
• Animal feed (horses, cows, goats, pigs, chickens, etc.)
• Non-perishable pet food
• Collars and halters
• Lead ropes and leashes
• Collapsible pet bowls
• Litter
• Litter pans
• Pet beds and toys
