Tryouts will be held starting tomorrow. They will end at 5:15. Bring tennis shoes.

We will begin tryouts for this year's wrestling team on October 30th directly following school. I will send some workouts shortly for students to help prepare students for the season.

I have sent out a remind for upcoming freshman and high school girls interested in forming a woman's wrestling team. If interested check out the remind. We would greatly appreciate it if this could be completed by Monday! It is a real short Google Form.

A few updates:

8th graders check the Remind for updates on off-season practices with Coach Flinchum.

Lady wrestlers, please also reach out through email or Remind and give a heads up if you are interested in wrestling next year at the High School! We are trying to put together information for a potential womens team.

The Student Health Center will be doing FREE sports physicals on Tuesday, March 26th here at Rockingham. These physicals will be good for the 2024-2025 school year. You must have consent and a physical form in order to participate. All forms are available in the Student Health Center. The physicals are going to take place during the day so please get forms filled out and turned back into the SHC office.

Yesterday was an awesome day at the conference tournament, we had many placers as a team and a great day of action. As a coach, it was hard to watch my 8th graders finish their middle school career but I am so excited to see them transition into high school and continue to rock the sport. So proud of each and every one of the wrestlers!

We will have arranged banquet details shortly so stay tuned!

Recap from last night, we did not win our match against WRMS, but we did have an amazing 8th grade night and are thankful for our wrestlers!
