Nova Premier Soccer Club

Nova Premier Soccer Club Nova Premier Soccer Club is a premier soccer club for boys and girls competing in the top leagues in the state of Massachusetts and in New England.

Nova SC began in 1998 when Rick Skelly had a vision and a desire to develop a premier girls soccer club in southeastern Massachusetts where players would receive top-flight instruction, be challenged and grow to become successful soccer players. Despite being a small club, Nova SC has been able to produce and develop many talented players and many successful teams. Nova SC teams have regularly co

mpeted in Maple Division 1, regularly reached the quarterfinals and further in the Massachusetts State Cup, and won numerous tournaments in New England and across the eastern United States. Many Nova SC players have gone on to compete collegiately at institutions such as: St. John’s University (NYC), St. Michael’s College, St. Anselm, Stonehill University, Framingham State College, Bridgewater State College, Brandies University, Washington University – St. Louis, UMASS Lowell, UMASS Dartmouth, UMASS Amherst, Amherst College, Williams College (MA), Wheaton College (MA), Skidmore College, Springfield College, Worcester State College, Western Connecticut College, Lesley University, High Point University (NC), University of New Hampshire, Simmons College, Emmanuel College, Salve Regina University, etc. However, we are most proud that we continually hold that family like atmosphere. In 2009, Rick Skelly officially retired from a long and productive service to Nova SC, MAPLE, and to Massachusetts Youth Soccer. Tony Luongo took over ownership of the club and the club was renamed Nova Premier Soccer Club. In 2010, we look to add to our great history by rebuilding our Academy Program, adding boys teams to the club and fielding more girls teams.
