It is with mixed emotions that I am letting you all know that I will NOT be teaching swim this summer.
I will be taking college classes because I am close to being finished with my bachelor’s degree.

My 5 Water Safety Rules I teach at every lesson:
1. If a grown-up says, “No!”, then we don’t go. Ask a grown up first before you go to any water.
2. NEVER swim alone!
3. Walk and don’t run if you wanna have more fun!
4. Walk around the pool (or any water) and make sure it’s clear. We don’t want to jump on anyone or anything.
5. Go in the water feet first!

🏊🏻♀️ If your child has taken lessons in the past, remind them to:
🏊🏽 “Out and around” (arms)
🦵 “kick, kick, kick” (legs)

🫣 If you have a baby/toddler/fearful child of water…
• Start NOW drizzling water down their head for them to get used to the sensation of water in their face.
• Get small toys that sink that they can play with in the tub. Encourage them to put their face in to see the toy.
