What an awesome turn out we had for the first day of summer training. I believe the final headcount was 21 and I have been getting more and more interest everyday. With the numbers and age range we had I am going to make some adjustments to accommodate the training so everyone can get the most out of it.

If you are new to Main Street Hoops, the information for registration and training is also below.

Here’s the plan going forward with training:

🏀 Training Schedule
• Wednesdays: Elementary 6-7pm/middle&high 7-8pm
• Sundays: Elementary 3-4pm/ middle&high 4-5pm
• Tuesdays (Overflow if needed. Not in use yet): Elementary 6-7pm/middle&high 7-8pm
Note: No training the week of July 4th. Final session will be Tuesday, July 16th.

💰 Cost
• All participants must register with AAU ($20) and join Main Street Hoops (Club Code: W4T96T).
• $10 per session, pay-as-you-go. Attend as often or as little as you’d like.

📍 Location
Statesboro High School JV Gym
Enter from Coach Lee Hill Blvd. Pass the main school entrance and turn left into the Pre-K entrance. Continue past the playground to the parking lot. Double doors will be unlocked for gym access.

📋 What to Bring
• Basketball (I’ll have a few extras, but please bring your own if possible)
• Water bottle
• Tennis shoes (tied securely)
• Hair up and out of the face

👥 Training Groups
I’m currently running this solo and will do my best to structure the sessions for all ages and skill levels. As we get going, I may split age groups and add the Tuesday time slot to ensure everyone gets the most out of their training. Thanks in advance for your patience as we adjust and grow.

🏆 Vision for Main Street Hoops
My goal is to build Main Street Hoops into a hub for youth basketball in the Bulloch, Evans, and Candler County area—a program that can eventually foster competitive AAU/travel teams for boys and girls of all ages. This will take time, teamwork, and support, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with your kids as we begin this journey.
