Recent Project Completed at LFOD Tactical

Just wrapped up a big project where we cut, threaded, and recrowned five rifle barrels for a customer. Projects like this are becoming more common. With the rise in suppressor ownership more shooters are looking for ways to make their fi****ms suppressor-ready.

Many rifles that previously couldn’t accept a suppressor can be modified to safely, and properly, do so. It is possible with the right machine work.

At LFOD Tactical, we specialize in precision barrel work that gives customers more options and extends the capability of their existing fi****ms.

Just a reminder to everyone that we will be closed today to help facilitate the PISTOL ONLY (Not low light as was originally scheduled due to blizzard cancellation) Move & Shoot event. Shooting kicks off at 4pm. Last registration is normally by 5:30pm but could close sooner depending on numbers.

These events take time and preparation to run safely and effectively, and we appreciate your understanding while we dedicate the day to training and pushing shooters beyond static range work.

Another custom job completed 💪

We recently performed an unpin of a factory muzzle device and followed it up with a precision pin & weld on a new muzzle device for a customer. This type of work requires the right tools, experience, and attention to detail to ensure everything is done to spec.

🚨 Move & Shoot Events Are Coming Up! 🚨

We’re excited to announce the upcoming Move & Shoot dates hosted at T&L Tactical! These sessions are a unique opportunity to push your skills beyond static lane shooting and experience more realistic, dynamic firearm training.

Each event focuses on practical application and controlled stress to help shooters build confidence, efficiency, and problem-solving skills.

Upcoming Dates:
• March 16 – Pistol
• March 30 – Pistol (Low Light)
• April 13 – Rifle
• April 27 – Rifle (Low Light)
• May 11 – Pistol / Rifle

Topics will vary week to week, but participants can expect training elements such as:
• Movement and positional shooting
• Room clearing concepts
• Forced reloads
• Induced malfunctions and problem solving
• Operating under time pressure
• Low-light shooting conditions

If you’ve only ever shot from a static lane, this is your chance to test your limits and build real-world capability in a safe, structured environment.

Spots will be limited, so keep an eye out for registration details and be ready to secure your place. Shooting typically starts at 4:30pm. Last chance to register is usually 5:30pm. However, times are subject to change and slight accommodations can be available.

I just want to take a moment to say how incredibly proud I am of our wrestlers and this entire team this year.

What they’ve accomplished didn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of early mornings, late nights, discipline, sacrifice, and heart. Wrestling isn’t an easy sport — it demands toughness, humility, and resilience. And these athletes showed all of that and more.

But a season like this doesn’t happen because of the wrestlers alone. There are a LOT of people who helped get them to this point.

Coach Klessig who pours in countless hours behind the scenes breaking down film, running practices, pushing these athletes to grow not just as wrestlers but as young men and women. Coach Pekarske who brings his experience and upbeat personality. Coach Keilah Clark who went out on a limb and dove in face first to be Valders’ first ever female wrestling coach. The officials who show up and do a thankless job to keep the sport fair and moving forward. The parents and families who drive the miles, pay the fees, sit through the long tournaments, and support their kids every step of the way. The volunteers and supporters who believe in the program. It take every single person.

Wrestling gave me so much growing up — structure, purpose, grit, and belief in myself. Seeing this team thrive reminds me why it’s so important to give back to the sport that gives so much.

Proud is an understatement.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in this season. The foundation you’re building matters more than you know.
