YOU'VE GOT MAIL?
We are one week away from the start of something that became a huge success in the first year and sold out and we are already looking forward to plans for year 2. Announcement to be made at Border Wars next Saturday.
Aug 30th we sent out the rules briefing, roster, photographer pricing and maps of Chula Vista Resort to make it easier for everyone to know exactly where everything is located for the meet. If you have not received it, please reach out. We have had several people reach out about not receiving it and the screenshots show their address on the email. Either way, we want to make sure that everyone has the info needed ahead of time.
See everyone in 7 days for our scheduled weigh ins of 9-11 AM and 4-5 PM.

POSSIBLY OVER $4,000 FROM US!
Midwest Regionals already has the potential of giving back over $4,000 in merchandise from Fry's Family Fitness alone per the registration requirements. This does not include all of our other amazing sponsors who always come through with large amounts of merch and gift certificates for our larger meets. We believe that once everything is said and done and the meet sells out, we could be in the $7-8,000 mark.
Remember, do not hesitate to get your registrations in if this is the meet that you are training for because if it sells out, we will NOT be having a waiting list to get in.
Will we have some other surprises up our sleeves for this meet. Time will tell and we are working on something huge and monster sized. HINT HINT.

BATTLE FOR THE FUND RAISER MONEY!
We will be having our 6th annual Swoleman Classic on Feb 6, 2027. What started as an idea to start back up the Love to Lift raffle has turned into something that is going to be huge.
We will be having our regular USPA comp on this day. As of right now, there will be a team of 3 Reedsburg Fire Department and 3 City of Reedsburg Ambulance that will be competing against each other for the final raffle prize total money.
Fry's Family Fitness is putting in the first $1000 towards the pot. As we get closer, probably around mid October/early November, we will be asking our local community and businesses if they would like to donate to the pot through a one time donation or a raffle prize for the prize to be raffled off on the day of the comp. The breakout for the pool of money will be as follows:
Breast Cancer Research Foundation - 25%
American Stroke Foundation - 25%
1st place team - 30%
2nd place team - 20%
Example from the $1000 that we have put in already. BCRF $250, ASF $250, if fire wins $300, if City of Reedsburg Ambulance comes in 2nd $200
As you can see, the more we raise, the more that these amazing foundations and local community will get.
Mark your calendars now for Feb 6, 2027. Once we collect our first raffle prize, we will start with the ticket sales. You do not have to be a gym member to purchase tickets and you do not have to be present that day either to win.

BIG TALKS ABOUT 2027?
Made a trip today to be a part of Biceps, BBQ and Bodyslams at the Vault Fitness in Woodland, WI. Dustin is a young entrepreneur who just opened up his first gym. Adam Scheer, otherwise known as former strongman and former WWE wrestler, Braun Strowman, hosted a bench press, deadlift and strict curl competition for fun. Also, later that day, my good friend and very close family member, David Herro, put on a FREE GLCW show with the one and only Kal Herro in the main event.
After it was all said and done, we may have some big announcements coming for a few of our powerlifting events in 2027. Who would love to have a meet and greet with a former WWE Superstar at a few of our powerlifting comps in 2027. Stay tuned as we try to work out the details and bring our events to the next level meet experience that each and everyone of you deserve. As always, a huge shoutout to my brother, David Herro, for being a big reason why something like this comes together, as we did back in 2019 when we brought Road Warrior Animal to our gym for a meet and greet.

5 FOR 5 SELL OUTS INCOMING!
Registrations are still coming in and the combo rack for this meet will be ordered within the next few weeks to prepare us for the 5th sell out in a row.
The combo rack on the platform will go back to one lifter who earned it as long as the meet sells out by Nov 20, 2026, which is the registration deadline for this meet per the online registration.
Several meets have sold out early and we had to turn some people away. If this is the meet that you are training for, do not wait because we may have to turn people away as we get closer to filling up the meet.

NEW EQUIPMENT ALERT!
Even though we have several pieces that are older, which are just as functional as new and made more robust than some new 🤣, we have finally got our new pendulum squat that we had ordered several months ago. Talk about a leg killer. 😉
New recumbent bike purchased a month ago, along with the 4 others that we have, and it is already everyone's favorite.
Our bulky and durable treadmills had a few of the belts replaced and now the remaining will be getting there new belts put on over the next week or two.
With school starting next week, our uptick of kids since the beginning of the year has been huge. What better way to end the school day at the high school and walk straight across the street and get your workout in with your friends. Stop in for a tour with your parents to find out more details to see if we are what you are looking for at the lowest price in the surrounding area.

We are hoping to bring the meet experience back to Iowa in 2027 after we see how many people show up and show out for Vintage Iron's Main Event on Oct 10, 2026 in Davenport, IA.
We were told Quad cities was the place to be because each area has gyms that have some of the biggest lifters around. Now is the time to show that your area has the biggest and baddest in the Quad City area.

DON'T GAMBLE YOUR CHANCE AWAY!

After helping with another amazing event in Vegas today, the next local meet for Las Vegas is Smash Iron Fitness III on Dec 12, 2026. Seeing all of the familiar faces today and so many saying that they will see us in December, we want to make it clear that we do not want you to gamble your chances away from getting into this meet.
This is our 5th meet in Las Vegas, with our previous 4 meets being sold out meets. As long as this meet sells out on or before Nov 20, 2026, someone who earned it will be going home with a Fry's Fitness combo rack and that does not include all of the amazing things that our sponsors continue to give back to the lifters.
This meet could easily have close to $4000 worth of merch and gift certificates going back to the lifters.
