Parking in the pits: Truck, trailer, and derby vehicle only. No additional vehicles will be allowed.
Additional vehicles not conforming to this rule will be asked to leave the pit area. If the vehicle
owner refuses the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense. If you DO NOT have a wrist
band by the time the Driver’s meeting starts you will be asked to leave.
ABSOLUTELY no personal skid steers, tractors, or equipment allowed.

CONTESTANTS:

1. All contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Entrants 16-17 years of age will be
accepted with proof of valid picture driver’s license and signature approval from parent or
guardian.
2. You may register more than one vehicle in separate classes with paid entry per class.
3. ABSOLUTELY NO alcoholic beverages will be allowed to be brought into the fairground
pit area. All vehicles will be checked.
4. Any driver judged inebriated will be disqualified with no refund.
5. The fair association will not be responsible for any vehicles or their components left on
the fairgrounds. Any vehicle left on the grounds after the event will be removed at the
owner's expense.
ENTRY FEES/PIT PASS: Subject to change per event holders discretion
ULTIMATE IMPACT PROMOTIONS: $20.00 late fee after close of registration/inspection.
All persons in the pit will be required to sign a liability waiver for themselves

INSPECTION OF VEHICLES:

1. All vehicles will be inspected upon entry; entrance to the grounds and are subject to
inspection at any time without notice.
2. Car and driver only through inspection. If you are running multiple vehicles, you must
bring each through inspection.
3. Upon entering the grounds, all cars must have an open hood. They must have an
advisable hole in the trunk so the inside may be inspected.
4. Vehicles which do not conform to stated rules will have until the close of registration to
correct the problems and be re-inspected to get an indicator.
5. All vehicles MUST have an inspection hole in the frame. We WILL be scoping. If
you choose not to have a hole or make a hole you will load.
6. Absolutely no spray foam prior to inspection.
7. BRAKES: Must be functioning at the beginning of all events.
8. Vehicles are subject to re-inspection before any winning will be handed out.
9. Official’s decisions are final.

COMPETITION:

1. ALL drivers must wear a secured DOT approved seat belt or ⅘ point racing belt with
single release.
2. Competition will start from a dead stop. Contestants may operate in any direction within
the prescribed boundaries.
3. Any type of collision is legal; however, intentional driver’s door hits are prohibited. The
driver’s door is recommended to be painted a bright color.
4. The driver’s door may not be used as a shield. It will cause disqualification.
5. Drivers are given 1 minute for restart, 1 minute if hung up, and 1 minute to make an
aggressive hit. Aggressive hits MUST be made every minute or drivers will be subject to
disqualification.
6. Drivers playing possum, sandbagging, or holding will be signaled to get under way.
Failure to comply in 30 seconds will result in disqualification.
7. The last car that made a aggressive hit will be the winner. In the event 2 or more cars
simultaneously demolish each other or become hung up on each other, the car that
made the last aggressive hit will be declared the winner.
8. Decisions of the officials are final. We are human and cannot make everyone happy.
We cannot see everything; however, we will do our best.
9. If you break your stick, you must remain in your seat and have your helmet on until the
end of the event.

GENERAL RULES:

1. No persons will be allowed to cross over the orange fence that separates the track from
the pit area. This means pit crew and any other members with the driver. If this happens,
the driver will be disqualified, with no refund, and will lose any winnings.
2. Any controversies will be taken up in the drivers meeting.
3. No Hot-Riding in the pit area. This includes the haulers as well. The driver will be
disqualified, with no refund, and will lose any winnings.
4. Any driver or crew member not complying with any one of the rules will cause the driver
to be disqualified, with no refund, and will lose any winnings. Crew members are the
responsibility of the driver.
5. NO REFUND AFTER DERBY STARTS.

Pure Stock Compact and Midsize (Run Together)

NO WELDING IN THIS CLASS UNLESS STATED BELOW. This is a simple build. Strip, chain,
run.

1. May run a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. No carb conversions or aftermarket shifters.
2. DOORS: Driver’s door may be welded solid. All other doors may be chained in 2 spots
per seam.
3. HOODS: No rods or plates. You may chain or 9 wire in (6) spots.
TRUNKS: No rods or plates. You may chain or 9 wire in (6) spots. No dishing. Must
remain stock. May be pre-bent up. Lid/hatch can be removed.
5. BODY: No body creasing. Roof sign is mandatory.
6. FRAME: All factory bolts and mounts must remain stock. No stuffing of frame or added
metal. No full frame vehicles.
7. BUMPERS: Front: If the vehicle comes with a fiberglass or plastic bumper it may change
to a 90’ and newer midsize bumper, which must be bolted using (4) 5/16” bolts. May
weld one bead around the frame to hold bumper. No exceptions. Rear bumper must be
stock to the car or removed. Bumpers may be chained only in (2) spots.
8. CAGE: You may run a (4) point cage. May be welded or bolted in. no down bars or
kickers allowed. Rear seat bar is MANDATORY if you choose to not run a (4) point cage.
No expectations. A single tank protector off of the rear seat bar is okay.
9. SUSPENSION: Must remain stock and functional. No altering parts or height.
10. TIRES: May be tubed and/or flapped. Stock style rims. No weld in centers or braces.
Valve stem protectors okay. Skid steer tires and ag tires are allowed.
11. WINDSHIELD/REAR WINDOW: Must be removed and two vertical steel bars or chain
must be run from roof to the car body (not hood) in front of the driver. NO 9 wire in any
windows. No rear window bars allowed.

Mild Compact and Mild Midsize (Run Together)

No V8s. No full frame cars. No four wheel drive vehicles allowed unless the drivetrain is altered
to make it two wheel drive.
1. GAS TANKS: A metal gas tank or fuel cell (6 gallon maximum capacity) is required. Gas tanks are to be securely fastened and mounted behind the driver’s seat. Gas tank protectors will be allowed, consisting of a single loop directly around the tank off of a rear
eat bar, 24”x24” max and stop before the trunk and cannot be in contact or mounted to
the body in any way. All fuel lines must run inside the car. Metal Tank must be securely
fastened. Gas spillage will result in disqualification. Electric fuel pumps must have an
emergency shut off and must be highly noticeable.
2. Batteries: (2) Automotive or (1) large truck style battery allowed. Must be mounted
securely in the passenger side front of the vehicle.
3. Radiators/Transmission Coolers: Radiators must remain in stock location. NO
ANTIFREEZE will be allowed in the radiator. WATER only. Thin type expanded
metal/mesh or condenser are allowed but may not be wider than the radiator and bolted
or strapped in only. You may have an auxiliary transmission cooler mounted to the
passenger side floorboard. Transmission cooler must be no larger than 24” x 24” x 18”
or may loop off lines.
4. Windshield/Rear Window: Must be removed and two vertical steel bars or chain must
be run from roof to the car body (not hood) in front of the driver. NO. 9 wire in any windows. Rear window bar or chain is allowed but can only be from top of roof to speaker deck/trunk. If using a bar it can only be 50% to trunk and 50% to speaker deck, and must not be connected, and be minimum of 8” from rollover bar. Mounting plate can
be 6X6 and may be welded or bolted.
5. BUMPERS: Front: (NO Chrysler pointy’s) Automotive bumper or 4X4 ¼” steel tubing or
a 2X6X1/4” steel tubing may be used. Homemade bumpers allowed, including replica
bumpers, but MUST be similar to a ’74 Chevy bumper, no more than a 9 1/2 “ point.
Anything more, plan on cutting or loading. No ax points and must be spread out. You
will be asked to cut if we feel too much of a point. You may stuff or plate automotive
bumpers only. Bumpers may not exceed the width of fenders. Bumpers can be welded or
bolted to the car using factory brackets or directly to the frame/car. Stock bumpers or
tubing may not exceed 8”. We will measure from the back of the bumper. 8” is 8”, no
more. If you have more than 8”, plan on cutting. If you do not use tubing in the frame a
8x1/4” thick plate may be welded off the back of the bumper onto the frame. Bumper Height, 22" max 14" min to bottom of bumper.
6. FRAME: plates (2) on fresh cars (4) on pre ran Maximum(4) 4X6 ¼” Do not ask for more.
7. DOORS: May be secured by the maximum of (2) per door seam using the following:
wire, cable, chain, or 6”X3”X3/8” weld per door. The Driver's door may be welded all the
way around. No chain wire, or welding on the inside of doors. Wire, chain, and cable 36”
maximum.
8. HOODS: Maximum (6) of the following items may be used to secure hood: wire, chain or
up to 1” threaded rod (6) 4x4 hold down plates or other small angle irons. ONLY (4) may be extended to the
frame and can be bolted through the frame or welded to the frame vertically with one 6”
weld on each side. You may have up to 10 ⅜” bolts in hood webbing.
9. TRUNKS: Maximum of (6) trunk hold downs. May use wire, chain, or threaded rod up to
1" threaded rod. Can also use 3”X4”X1/4” thick plate. Only (2) hold down may connect
to the frame. Others must be sheet metal to sheet metal. Top plates for rods, can not exceed 4”X4 ¼” in size. There must be a way for us to see inside trunk for inspection.
You may tuck or dish your trunk lid 50%. The tail light panel must remain vertical. Trunks
can not have a ramp effect.
10. CAGE: Minimum of a 4 point cage required. Door bars may note extend more than 6”
past the middle door pillar. May run (4) down bars, straight down, welded or bolted, to
sheet metal only. Halo bars may be bolted or welded to the rear seat bar. Halo bar can
be bolted to roof with a maximum of (2) ⅜” bolts. If running a rear window bar, it has to be a minimum of 12” away from the halo bar. Can have a 6”X6”X1/4” plate to the trunk lid
to mount the window bar (has to be 50% trunk lid and 50% speaker deck).
11. INTERIOR: Absolutely no welding of any interior seams. The driver seat must be
securely mounted with a functioning seat belt. Must be cleaned and free of
glass/dirt/debris/loose objects.
12. SUSPENSION/STEERING: Front tie rods, upper and lower control arms, may be
reinforced. Factoring appearing strut allowed for a FWD vehicle. Rear struts may be
bolted or welded using (2) 1” wide straps (ONE PER STRUT). Rear trailing arms may be
reinforced by bolting or welding, but mounts must be stock or bolted in only.
13. TIRES/WHEELS: No bead locks or tire protectors. May use implement and forklift tires.
14.REAR WHEEL DRIVE CARS: Leaf springs can be clamped in (4) places (two in front of
axle and two behind the axle per spring pack). Spring clamps may be made out of
2”X4”X1/4” thick with (2) ⅜” bolts. Coil springs may be chained in place. Stock rear ends,
NO bracing or axle savers. Pinion brakes and slider driveshafts are allowed.
15. FENDERS: May run (5) ⅜” bolts per fender. Creasing is allowed.
16. ENGINE PROTECTORS: No engine cradles or pulley protectors allowed. Carb and
header protectors are allowed but must be engine mounted only. Header protector must
have a 2” gap between the header protector and the firewall.
17. CAR REPAIRS: All repairs to pre-ran/fresh cars must be approved by officials ahead of
time.

Mini Truck/Mini Van/SUV:

1. If running a 4WD truck or SUV, the front driveshaft must be removed.
2. Engine/ Transmissions: Can run any engine and transmission combination. Basic
lower cradle with a head plate and pulley protector allowed. NO distributor protectors or
midplates or halo allowed. NO transmission braces are allowed. Aftermarket motor
mounts are allowed.
3. RADIATORS: Must be in stock location. No homemade radiators. No Radi Barrels.
Radiator protectors allowed, but no wider than the radiator. Mesh or expanded metal
material: ¼” max thickness. (4) ⅜” bolts or (4) 1” welds allowed to hold radiator
protector.
4. CAB/BOX/TAILGATE: You may weld box to cab with 4X4X1/4” plates, TOTAL OF (4),
(2) PER SIDE. Body bolts ¾” MAX. 6”X6” washers, total of (10) are allowed. You may also
bolt box to cab with (2) ¾” max bolts with 6X6 plates. Box must remain upright in stock
location, no tucking or wedging, or lowering tailgate allowed. May chain or weld tailgate
in (2) places per side. If welding the tailgate, you are allowed up to 2”X3”X1/4” strap per
seam, (4) total.
5. DOORS: Drivers door may be welded solid. All other doors may be chained or welded;
(2) spots per seam. If welding doors, you’re allowed up to 2”X3”X1/4” thick strap.
6. CAGE: 4 point cage is recommended, but a back seat bar is mandatory. Total of (4)
downbars, (2) per side to floor only and must be vertical, bolted or welded only: NOT
BOTH.
7. SUSPENSION: You may clamp springs, (4) per spring pack; up to 2”X3”X1/4” with (2) ⅜”
bolts. No homemade springs. May strengthen tie rods or use aftermarket tie rods.
8. BUMPERS: Front bumper may be any automotive bumper NO CHRYSLER POINTIES.
May be loaded. Replica bumpers are allowed up to ‘74 Chevy. Homemade bumpers are
allowed with no more than a 9 ½” point. No ax points; must be spread out. Can have 2”
wide, by ¼” thick straps: up to (2) total OR chains to go from core support to bumper.
Rear bumper must be any automotive bumper or can have a 2”X6”X1/4” or 4”X4”X1/4”
thick to max.
9. HOODS: May have (6) hold downs. May use up to 1” rod, chain, 9 wire. Only (2) can
connect to the frame, the rest must be sheet metal to sheet metal.
10. FUEL CELL: Must be located in the center front of the box or inside of cab, if running
extended cab truck or SUV, gas line must be in a protective conduit.
11. BATTERIES: (2) batteries max. Must be covered and fastened securely.
12. TIRES/RIMS: Any tire allowed other than solid. Small wheel centers are allowed. Bead
lip protectors are allowed. No bead locks allowed
13. REAR ENDS: Stock rear ends only, NO brace. Pinion brakes and slider driveshafts are
allowed.
14. FRAME: No stubbing. (2)plates fresh truck (4) Pre-Ran: 4”X6"X1/4” Maximum of (4) total. Don't ask for more.

Full Size Truck:

1. Any year truck up to ¾ ton pickup, extended cab, crew cab, suburbans allowed. No 1
ton, HD, or Super Dutys allowed. 4WD trucks must remove the front driveshaft.
2. HOODS: hoods can be secured a maximum of (6) places, rod no bigger than 1”, (4) nuts
per rod. Hood washers: 4”X4” maximum. Only two may go to frame.
3. CAB, BOX, AND TAILGATE: Drivers door may be welded solid, all other doors may
have (2) chains per door OR (4) 2”X4”X1/4” plates per seam. CAB: may be secured
down by (4) threaded rods and no bigger than 3/4" X4”X4” washers. Rods can be welded
4” down the side of the frame or in factory location: (2) nuts per rod. In regular cab
trucks, must have protection behind drivers seat. Must have chain or straps from top of
cab to firewall in front windshield. BOX: must have a box. No homemade boxes,
flatbeds. No welding inside of box. The box can be secured down by (10) threaded rods,
no bigger than1”; (2) nuts per rod. Threaded rod may be welded down side of frame up
to 6”. Box may be secured to cab with (2) pieces of threaded rod up to ”; (2) nuts per
rod using 4”X4” washers. In addition, you may weld up to (4) total, (2) per side:
4”X4”X1/4” thick straps to secure the box to cab. TAILGATE: must be in stock upright
position. No lowering or wedging or sedagons allowed. Tailgate may be chained or
welded shut using a total of (4) plates; (2) per side, up to 2”X4”X1/4” plates per vertical seam.
4. BUMPERS: any OEM, homemade, replica bumper may be used. NO CHRYSLER
POINTIES. Homemade bumpers must be similar to a ‘74 Chevy bumper. No ax points,
must be spread out. Loaded bumpers are allowed. May hard nose directly to front frame
rails with no added metal. REAR BUMPER: Mandatory: must be factory or a 2”X6” tube
or 4”X4” tube, no wider than the tailgate. Must be chained or welded. Can fasten tailgate
to bumper in (3) spots; chain or welded with straps up to 2”X4”X1/4”.
5. TIRES/RIMS: Any tire besides solid tires are allowed. Full weld in wheel centers may be
used. No bead locks allowed. 1” wide bead lip protectors allowed.
6. SUSPENSION: Must be stock. NO aftermarket lift kits allowed. Leaf springs must be
stock. No leaf spring conversions allowed. Up to (4) leaf spring clamps per set of
springs; 2”X6”X1/4” MAX size allowed for clamps. Front suspension may bolt or weld
solid. Can also run a piece of square tube up to 2”X2”X1/4” in place of the front shockmount. Tie rods, ball joints, and steering box must be stock/factory; 18” minimum, 27”
maximum to bottom of bumper for height.
7. REAR END: May have pinion brake and posi traction and slider drive shaft. No dually or
rear end braces allowed. May chain rear end 1 per side.
8. ENGINE: engine swaps allowed. Basic header protectors are allowed. You can have a
basic lower cradle with a head plate and pulley protector. Aftermarket motor mounts are
allowed. No distributor protectors, halo, or mid plate allowed.
9. TRANSMISSION: No steel or aluminum ultra bells, or transmission braces allowed.
10. RADIATOR: Any OEM or aluminum allowed, NO radi barrels. Must be in stock location
and may be held in with (2) ½” threaded rods. Can only connect with 2” wide X ¼” thick
on top and bottom of the radiator. Simple mesh-like material or radiator condenser
allowed. Bolted ONLY using up to (6) ⅜” bolts.
11. CAGE: minimum of 4 point cage required. Door bars can only be 6” past the rear seat
bar. Halo bar is allowed, but can only be attached to the seat bar by welding or bolting.
Can bolt through roof in (2) spots with maximum of ⅜” bolts. (4) down bars, (2) per side
may be allowed but can only attached to sheet metal welded or bolted.
12. BATTERY: (2) batteries maximum allowed. Must be properly mounted and secured with
a cover.
13. FUEL CELL: factory gas tank must be removed to 10 gallon max. Mounted in front of
the box. May use electric fuel pumps. Gas lines must be securely fastened and
protected.
14. FRAMES: No altering of frames. No stubbing or seam welding. No welding on frames
other than Plates 4x6x1/4
(2) On fresh truck (4) on pre ran Maximum of 4 plates. Don't ask for more.

FULL SIZE CARS:

No imperials or su***de lincolins. ‘03 and newer fords must run all stock steering and
suspension components in the front. You may run an aftermarket steering column, but
no hydraulic steering. You will be allowed to run a small engine mounting cradle (gray
area derby products as an example). ONLY stock ball joints and tie rods.
1. BATTERIES: (2) batteries or (1) large style truck battery is allowed. Must be mounted
securely in the passenger floorboard.
2. BUMPERS: No Chrysler pointy bumpers allowed. You may weld a bumper to a frame.
Homemade bumpers allowed, including replica bumpers. Must be similar to a ‘74 Chevy bumper. No ax points, points must be spread out. If your car comes with shocks, you
may weld them. Shocks can not go any further back in the frame than 8”. Must use (2) 2”X1/4” straps or chains to go from core support to bumper. Must go sheet metal to bumper ONLY.
3. BODY MOUNTS AND BOLTS: you must have 1” space between body and frame, for
example: hockey puck, steel puck, or stock mount. If you have a damaged or broken
body bolt, you may replace it with no larger than a ½” bolt. If you cut bolts out, 3” max
washer on top of the body and one side of the frame only. First and last body bolt does not need to be mounted in place.
4. FENDERS: may have up to (4) 3” bolts per fender.
5. HOOD: you may have (6) ⅜” bolts per cut out in hood webbing. 6 spots for hood hold
downs, 1” max. Only (2) may go to frame, the others sheet metal to sheet metal only.
You may weld washers to sheet metal if using 9 wire; 1” washer max. No more than a 6”
spacer in core support, 3”X3” max. No welding to core support or frame.
6. TRUNK: (6) hold downs max. ⅜” chain, (4) strands of 9 wire, or (6) 3”X4”X1/4” plates.
50% tuck on trunk, no dishing. Tail light panel must remain vertical.
7. DOORS: doors may be chained, welded, or wired in 3 spots per door seam. The Driver's
door may be welded for safety. Window seams are allowed 8” of total weld. (3) loops of 9
wire max.
8. FRAMES: Frames must be stock. No stubbing, tipping, cold bending, or altering in any
way. You may shorten the front frame on ‘80 and newer ford products.
Fresh Cars: Allowed two plates 4x6 ¼. No more than one per frame rail. Crushbox
forward, no plates beyond the firewall.
Preran Cars: Allowed four plates max. Don't ask for more. No stacking of plates and must be at least 1” in
between plates. No cutting or splitting of plates.
9. CAGE: Mandatory 4 point cage. Door bars can only be 60” long, no more than 6” past
the rear seat bar. Rear seat bar can be no further back than 6” past the middle door
pillar. Halo bar can be attached to the seat bar by welding or bolting. You may bolt the
halo bar to the roof with (2) 7/16” bolts max. (4) vertical down bars may be welded or
bolted to sheet metal only. Fuel cell protector must be 4” away from the seat panel and
3” off the floor; no wider than 32”.
10. REAR ENDS: you may run any 5 lug or 8 lug rear end. 9” rear end is allowed; weld on
perches. You may be allowed to run 33 spline max axle. You may have a simple brace
on the back of the rear end. No more than 2”X4” material from hub to hub on rear only.
IF USING 8 BOLT REAR END, NO BRACING ALLOWED.
11. SUSPENSION: stock upper and lower A arms: you may run up to (1) ⅜” chain OR
2X4X1/4” strap to gain height. Steering boxes must be stock, NO truck parts. You may
interchange tie rods as long as they are car type and stock. You may interchange car
type spindles, bolt on only. No threaded rods or bolts may be used to replace ball joints.
No screw in ball joints unless factory with make and model of vehicle. Height of 21” max,
15” min, from bottom of bumper or frame, whichever is lowest.
12. RADIATORS: stock or aluminum only. No protectors. You may but a ¾” mesh in front of the radiator, 2” wider than radiator OR a/c condenser. Must have stock upper and lower
core support.
13. ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN: transmission must have a factory aluminum bell housing or any
aftermarket aluminum bolt on housing. Transmission coolers are allowed, lines must be
safely protected. Transmission crossmember; may use 2”X2” square tubing or stock
crossmember. DO NOT pressure your transmission into the tunnel, there MUST be
significant space between transmission and tunnel. Stock type driveshaft or slider
driveshaft is allowed. Basic lower cradle may be used with head plate, NO midplates.
Pulley protector is allowed but the sway bar has to be removed.
14. STEERING: NO hydraulic steering. Aftermarket steering columns are allowed, all other
steering components have to be stock.
15. TIRES/WHEELS: Any tire besides solid tires are allowed. Full weld in wheel centers may
be used. No bead locks allowed. 1” wide bead lip protectors allowed.
NO GRANDFATHERED CARS PERIOD! UNLESS THEY PASS RULES LISTED
ABOVE

Power Wheels: Entry is FREE

SAFETY IS FIRST FOR THE POWER WHEELS CLASS FOR ALL CHILDREN
1. This is supposed to be fun for the kids! Parents: please do not ruin it for them
2. Power Wheels derby is for kids 4-10 years old, and must be accompanied by an adult
and have minor release form completed
3. Helmets are MANDATORY. Bicycle helmets are okay
4. No 4-wheeler power wheels allowed
5. Passengers are allowed per officials discretion
6. Derby is limited to (1) 6 or 12 volt battery/Milwaukee, Dewalt style
7. Doors, hoods, and tailgates must be secured by bungee cord, rope, zip tie, or similar
8. Rubber material may be may be wrapped around tires for traction and may be secured with maximum of (3) screws.

Parking in the pits: Truck, trailer, and derby vehicle only. No additional vehicles will be allowed.
Additional vehicles not conforming to this rule will be asked to leave the pit area. If the vehicle
owner refuses the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense. If you DO NOT have a wrist
band by the time the Driver’s meeting starts you will be asked to leave.
ABSOLUTELY no personal skid steers, tractors, or equipment allowed.

CONTESTANTS:

1. All contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Entrants 16-17 years of age will be
accepted with proof of valid driver’s license and signature approval from parent or
guardian.
2. You may register more than one vehicle in separate classes with paid entry per class.
3. ABSOLUTELY NO alcoholic beverages will be allowed to be brought into the fairground
pit area. All vehicles will be checked.
4. Any driver judged inebriated will be disqualified with no refund.
5. The fair association will not be responsible for any vehicles or their components left on
the fairgrounds. Any vehicle left on the grounds after the event will be removed at the
owner's expense.
ENTRY FEES/PIT PASS: Subject to change per event holders discretion
ULTIMATE IMPACT PROMOTIONS: $20.00 late fee after close of registration/inspection.
All persons in the pit will be required to sign a liability waiver for themselves

INSPECTION OF VEHICLES:

1. All vehicles will be inspected upon entry; entrance to the grounds and are subject to
inspection at any time without notice.
2. Car and driver only through inspection. If you are running multiple vehicles, you must
bring each through inspection.
3. Upon entering the grounds, all cars must have an open hood. They must have an
advisable hole in the trunk so the inside may be inspected.
4. Vehicles which do not conform to stated rules will have until the close of registration to
correct the problems and be re-inspected to get an indicator.
5. All vehicles MUST have an inspection hole in the frame. We WILL be scoping. If
you choose not to have a hole or make a hole you will load.
6. Absolutely no spray foam prior to inspection.
7. BRAKES: Must be functioning at the beginning of all events.
8. Vehicles are subject to re-inspection before any winning will be handed out.
9. Official’s decisions are final.

COMPETITION:

1. ALL drivers must wear a secured DOT approved seat belt or ⅘ point racing belt with
single release.
2. Competition will start from a dead stop. Contestants may operate in any direction within
the prescribed boundaries.
3. Any type of collision is legal; however, intentional driver’s door hits are prohibited. The
driver’s door is recommended to be painted a bright color.
4. The driver’s door may not be used as a shield. It will cause disqualification.
5. Drivers are given 1 minute for restart, 1 minute if hung up, and 1 minute to make an
aggressive hit. Aggressive hits MUST be made every minute or drivers will be subject to
disqualification.
6. Drivers playing possum, sandbagging, or holding will be signaled to get under way.
Failure to comply in 30 seconds will result in disqualification.
7. The last car that made a hit will be the winner. In the event 2 or more cars
simultaneously demolish each other or become hung up on each other, the car that
made the last aggressive hit will be declared the winner.
8. Decisions of the officials are final. We are human and cannot make everyone happy.
We cannot see everything; however, we will do our best.
9. If you break your stick, you must remain in your seat and have your helmet on until the
end of the event.

GENERAL RULES:

1. No persons will be allowed to cross over the orange fence that separates the track from
the pit area. This means pit crew and any other members with the driver. If this happens,
the driver will be disqualified, with no refund, and will lose any winnings.
2. Any controversies will be taken up in the drivers meeting.
3. No Hot-Riding in the pit area. This includes the haulers as well. The driver will be
disqualified, with no refund, and will lose any winnings.
4. Any driver or crew member not complying with any one of the rules will cause the driver
to be disqualified, with no refund, and will lose any winnings. Crew members are the
responsibility of the driver.
5. NO REFUND AFTER DERBY STARTS.

Pure Stock Compact and Midsize (Run Together)

NO WELDING IN THIS CLASS UNLESS STATED BELOW. This is a simple build. Strip, chain,
run.

1. May run a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. No carb conversions or aftermarket shifters.
2. DOORS: Driver’s door may be welded solid. All other doors may be chained in 2 spots
per seam.
3. HOODS: No rods or plates. You may chain or 9 wire in (6) spots.
TRUNKS: No rods or plates. You may chain or 9 wire in (6) spots. No dishing. Must
remain stock. May be pre-bent up. Lid/hatch can be removed.
5. BODY: No body creasing. Roof size is mandatory.
6. FRAME: All factory bolts and mounts must remain stock. No stuffing of frame or added
metal. No full frame vehicles.
7. BUMPERS: Front: If the vehicle comes with a fiberglass or plastic bumper it may change
to a 90’ and newer midsize bumper, which must be bolted using (4) 5/16” bolts. May
weld one bead around the frame to hold bumper. No exceptions. Rear bumper must be
stock to the car or removed. Bumpers may be chained only in (2) spots.
8. CAGE: You may run a (4) point cage. May be welded or bolted in. no down bars or
kickers allowed rear seat bar is MANDATORY if you choose to not run a (4) point cage.
No expectations. A single tank protector off of the rear seat bar is okay.
9. SUSPENSION: Must remain stock and functional. No altering parts or height.
10. TIRES: May be tubed and/or flapped. Stock style rims. No weld in centers or braces.
Valve stem protectors okay. Skid steer tires and ag tires are allowed.
11. WINDSHIELD/REAR WINDOW: Must be removed and two vertical steel bars or chain
must be run from roof to the car body (not hood) in front of the driver. NO 9 wire in any
windows. No rear window bars allowed.

Mild Compact and Mild Midsize (Run Together)

No V8s. No full frame cars. No four wheel drive vehicles allowed unless the drivetrain is altered
to make it two wheel drive.
1. GAS TANKS: A metal gas tank or fuel cell (6 gallon maximum capacity) is required. Gas tanks are to be securely fastened and mounted behind the driver’s seat. Gas tank protectors will be allowed, consisting of a single loop directly around the tank off of a rear
eat bar, 24”x24” max and stop before the trunk and cannot be in contact or mounted to
the body in any way. All fuel lines must run inside the car. Metal Tank must be securely
fastened. Gas spillage will result in disqualification. Electric fuel pumps must have an
emergency shut off and must be highly noticeable.
2. Batteries: (2) Automotive or (1) large truck style battery allowed. Must be mounted
securely in the passenger side front of the vehicle.
3. Radiators/Transmission Coolers: Radiators must remain in stock location. NO
ANTIFREEZE will be allowed in the radiator. WATER only. Thin type expanded
metal/mesh or condenser are allowed but may not be wider than the radiator and bolted
or strapped in only. You may have an auxiliary transmission cooler mounted to the
passenger side floorboard. Transmission cooler must be no larger than 24” x 24” x 18”
or may loop off lines.
4. Windshield/Rear Window: Must be removed and two vertical steel bars or chain must
be run from roof to the car body (not hood) in front of the driver. NO. 9 wire in any windows. Rear window bar or chain is allowed but can only be from top of roof to speaker deck/trunk. If using a bar it can only be 50% to trunk and 50% to speaker deck, and must not be connected, and be minimum of 8” from rollover bar. Mounting plate can
be 6X6 and may be welded or bolted.
5. BUMPERS: Front: (NO Chrysler pointy’s) Automotive bumper or 4X4 ¼” steel tubing or
a 2X6X1/4” steel tubing may be used. Homemade bumpers allowed, including replica
bumpers, but MUST be similar to a ’74 Chevy bumper, no more than a 9 1/2 “ point.
Anything more, plan on cutting or loading. No ax points and must be spread out. You
will be asked to cut if we feel too much of a point. You may stuff or plate automotive
bumpers only. Bumpers may not exceed the width of fenders. Bumpers can be welded or
bolted to the car using factory brackets or directly to the frame/car. Stock bumpers or
tubing may not exceed 8”. We will measure from the back of the bumper. 8” is 8”, no
more. If you have more than 8”, plan on cutting. If you do not use tubing in the frame a
8x1/4” thick plate may be welded off the back of the bumper onto the frame, then one
side only.
6. FRAME: Maximum 4 4X4 ¼” fix it plates are allowed, MUST BE OVER A VISIBLE
BEND, two per side, but can not touch. NO other plates are allowed, unless you are not
stuffed and following bumper rules above.
7. DOORS: May be secured by the maximum of (2) per door seam using the following:
wire, cable, chain, or 6”X3”X3/8” weld per door. The Driver's door may be welded all the
way around. No chain wire, or welding on the inside of doors. Wire, chain, and cable 36”
maximum.
8. HOODS: Maximum (6) of the following items may be used to secure hood: wire, chain or
up to 1” threaded rod, or other small angle irons. ONLY (4) may be extended to the
frame and can be bolted through the frame or welded to the frame vertically with one 6”
weld on each side. You may have up to 10 ⅜” bolts in hood webbing.
9. TRUNKS: Maximum of (6) trunk hold downs. May use wire, chain, or threaded rod up to
¾” threaded rod. Can also use 3”X4”X1/4” thick plate. Only (2) hold down may connect
to the frame. Others must be sheet metal to sheet metal. Top plates for rods, can not exceed 4”X4 ¼” in size. There must be a way for us to see inside trunk for inspection.
You may tuck or dish your trunk lid 50%. The tail light panel must remain vertical. Trunks
can not have a ramp effect.
10. CAGE: Minimum of a 4 point cage required. Door bars may note extend more than 6”
past the middle door pillar. May run (4) down bars, straight down, welded or bolted, to
sheet metal only. Halo bars may be bolted or welded to the rear seat bar. Halo bar can
be bolted to roof with a maximum of (2) ⅜” bolts. If running a rear window bar, it has to be a minimum of 12” away from the halo bar. Can have a 6”X6”X1/4” plate to the trunk lid
to mount the window bar (has to be 50% trunk lid and 50% speaker deck).
11. INTERIOR: Absolutely no welding of any interior seams. The driver seat must be
securely mounted with a functioning seat belt. Must be cleaned and free of
glass/dirt/debris/loose objects.
12. SUSPENSION/STEERING: Front tie rods, upper and lower control arms, may be
reinforced. Factoring appearing strut allowed for a FWD vehicle. Rear struts may be
bolted or welded using (2) 1” wide straps (ONE PER STRUT). Rear trailing arms may be
reinforced by bolting or welding, but mounts must be stock or bolted in only.
13. TIRES/WHEELS: No bead locks or tire protectors. May use implement and forklift tires.
14.REAR WHEEL DRIVE CARS: Leaf springs can be clamped in (4) places (two in front of
axle and two behind the axle per spring pack). Spring clamps may be made out of
2”X4”X1/4” thick with (2) ⅜” bolts. Coil springs may be chained in place. Stock rear ends,
NO bracing or axle savers. Pinion brakes and slider driveshafts are allowed.
15. FENDERS: May run (5) ⅜” bolts per fender. Creasing is allowed.
16. ENGINE PROTECTORS: No engine cradles or pulley protectors allowed. Carb and
header protectors are allowed but must be engine mounted only. Header protector must
have a 2” gap between the header protector and the firewall.
17. CAR REPAIRS: All repairs to pre-ran/fresh cars must be approved by officials ahead of
time.

Mini Truck/Mini Van/SUV:

1. If running a 4WD truck or SUV, the front driveshaft must be removed.
2. Engine/ Transmissions: Can run any engine and transmission combination. Basic
lower cradle with a head plate and pulley protector allowed. NO distributor protectors or
midplates or halo allowed. NO transmission braces are allowed. Aftermarket motor
mounts are allowed.
3. RADIATORS: Must be in stock location. No homemade radiators. No Radi Barrels.
Radiator protectors allowed, but no wider than the radiator. Mesh or expanded metal
material: ¼” max thickness. (4) ⅜” bolts or (4) 1” welds allowed to hold radiator
protector.
4. CAB/BOX/TAILGATE: You may weld box to cab with 4X4X1/4” plates, TOTAL OF (4),
(2) PER SIDE. Body bolts ¾” MAX. 6”X6” washers, total of (8) are allowed. You may also
bolt box to cab with (2) ¾” max bolts with 6X6 plates. Box must remain upright in stock
location, no tucking or wedging, or lowering tailgate allowed. May chain or weld tailgate
in (2) places per side. If welding the tailgate, you are allowed up to 2”X3”X1/4” strap per
seam, (4) total.
5. DOORS: Drivers door may be welded solid. All other doors may be chained or welded;
(2) spots per seam. If welding doors, you’re allowed up to 2”X3”X1/4” thick strap.
6. CAGE: 4 point cage is recommended, but a back seat bar is mandatory. Total of (4)
downbars, (2) per side to floor only and must be vertical, bolted or welded only: NOT
BOTH.
7. SUSPENSION: You may clamp springs, (4) per spring pack; up to 2”X3”X1/4” with (2) ⅜”
bolts. No homemade springs. May strengthen tie rods or use aftermarket tie rods.
8. BUMPERS: Front bumper may be any automotive bumper NO CHRYSLER POINTIES.
May be loaded. Replica bumpers are allowed up to ‘74 Chevy. Homemade bumpers are
allowed with no more than a 9 ½” point. No ax points; must be spread out. Can have 2”
wide, by ¼” thick straps: up to (2) total OR chains to go from core support to bumper.
Rear bumper must be any automotive bumper or can have a 2”X6”X1/4” or 4”X4”X1/4”
thick to max.
9. HOODS: May have (6) hold downs. May use up to 1” rod, chain, 9 wire. Only (2) can
connect to the frame, the rest must be sheet metal to sheet metal.
10. FUEL CELL: Must be located in the center front of the box or inside of cab, if running
extended cab truck or SUV, gas line must be in a protective conduit.
11. BATTERIES: (2) batteries max. Must be covered and fastened securely.
12. TIRES/RIMS: Any tire allowed other than solid. Small wheel centers are allowed. Bead
lip protectors are allowed. No bead locks allowed
13. REAR ENDS: Stock rear ends only, NO brace. Pinion brakes and slider driveshafts are
allowed.
14. FRAME: No stubbing. No plates on frame allowed OTHER THAN PRE RAN VEHICLES
ONLY. Pre-Ran: allowed up to (4: 2 per side) 4”X4”X1/4” plates on a visible bend only.
Have to call officials ahead of time for approval.

Full Size Truck:

1. Any year truck up to ¾ ton pickup, extended cab, crew cab, suburbans allowed. No 1
ton, HD, or Super Dutys allowed. 4WD trucks must remove the front driveshaft.
2. HOODS: hoods can be secured a maximum of (6) places, rod no bigger than 1”, (4) nuts
per rod. Hood washers: 4”X4” maximum. Only two may go to frame.
3. CAB, BOX, AND TAILGATE: Drivers door may be welded solid, all other doors may
have (2) chains per door OR (4) 2”X4”X1/4” plates per seam. CAB: may be secured
down by (4) threaded rods and no bigger than ¾”X4”X4” washers. Rods can be welded
4” down the side of the frame or in factory location: (2) nuts per rod. In regular cab
trucks, must have protection behind drivers seat. Must have chain or straps from top of
cab to firewall in front windshield. BOX: must have a box. No homemade boxes,
flatbeds. No welding inside of box. The box can be secured down by (10) threaded rods,
no bigger than ¾”; (2) nuts per rod. Threaded rod may be welded down side of frame up
to 6”. Box may be secured to cab with (2) pieces of threaded rod up to ¾”; (2) nuts per
rod using 4”X4” washers. In addition, you may weld up to (4) total, (2) per side:
4”X4”X1/4” thick straps to secure the box to cab. TAILGATE: must be in stock upright
position. No lowering or wedging or sedagons allowed. Tailgate may be chained or
welded shut using a total of (4) plates; (2) per side, up to 2”X4”X1/4” plates per vertical seam.
4. BUMPERS: any OEM, homemade, replica bumper may be used. NO CHRYSLER
POINTIES. Homemade bumpers must be similar to a ‘74 Chevy bumper. No ax points,
must be spread out. Loaded bumpers are allowed. May hard nose directly to front frame
rails with no added metal. REAR BUMPER: Mandatory: must be factory or a 2”X6” tube
or 4”X4” tube, no wider than the tailgate. Must be chained or welded. Can fasten tailgate
to bumper in (3) spots; chain or welded with straps up to 2”X4”X1/4”.
5. TIRES/RIMS: Any tire besides solid tires are allowed. Full weld in wheel centers may be
used. No bead locks allowed. 1” wide bead lip protectors allowed.
6. SUSPENSION: Must be stock. NO aftermarket lift kits allowed. Leaf springs must be
stock. No leaf spring conversions allowed. Up to (4) leaf spring clamps per set of
springs; 2”X6”X1/4” MAX size allowed for clamps. Front suspension may bolt or weld
solid. Can also run a piece of square tube up to 2”X2”X1/4” in place of the front shockmount. Tie rods, ball joints, and steering box must be stock/factory; 18” minimum, 27”
maximum to bottom of bumper for height.
7. REAR END: May have pinion brake and posi traction and slider drive shaft. No dually or
rear end braces allowed. May chain rear end 1 per side.
8. ENGINE: engine swaps allowed. Basic header protectors are allowed. You can have a
basic lower cradle with a head plate and pulley protector. Aftermarket motor mounts are
allowed. No distributor protectors, halo, or mid plate allowed.
9. TRANSMISSION: No steel or aluminum ultra bells, or transmission braces allowed.
10. RADIATOR: Any OEM or aluminum allowed, NO radi barrels. Must be in stock location
and may be held in with (2) ½” threaded rods. Can only connect with 2” wide X ¼” thick
on top and bottom of the radiator. Simple mesh-like material or radiator condenser
allowed. Bolted ONLY using up to (6) ⅜” bolts.
11. CAGE: minimum of 4 point cage required. Door bars can only be 6” past the rear seat
bar. Halo bar is allowed, but can only be attached to the seat bar by welding or bolting.
Can bolt through roof in (2) spots with maximum of ⅜” bolts. (4) down bars, (2) per side
may be allowed but can only attached to sheet metal welded or bolted.
12. BATTERY: (2) batteries maximum allowed. Must be properly mounted and secured with
a cover.
13. FUEL CELL: factory gas tank must be removed to 10 gallon max. Mounted in front of
the box. May use electric fuel pumps. Gas lines must be securely fastened and
protected.
14. FRAMES: No altering of frames. No stubbing or seam welding. No welding on frames
other than pre-ran vehicles. May have up to (4) total, (2) per side, 4”X4”X1/4” thick fix it
plates on a visible bend. Please call ahead of time for approval.

FULL SIZE CARS:

No imperials or su***de lincolins. ‘03 and newer fords must run all stock steering and
suspension components in the front. You may run an aftermarket steering column, but
no hydraulic steering. You will be allowed to run a small engine mounting cradle (gray
area derby products as an example). ONLY stock ball joints and tie rods.
1. BATTERIES: (2) batteries or (1) large style truck battery is allowed. Must be mounted
securely in the passenger floorboard.
2. BUMPERS: No Chrysler pointy bumpers allowed. You may weld a bumper to a frame.
Homemade bumpers allowed, including replica bumpers. Must be similar to a ‘74 Chevy bumper. No ax points, points must be spread out. If your car comes with shocks, you
may weld them. Shocks can not go any further back in the frame than 8”. Must use (2) 2”X1/4” straps or chains to go from core support to bumper. Must go sheet metal to bumper ONLY.
3. BODY MOUNTS AND BOLTS: you must have 1” space between body and frame, for
example: hockey puck, steel puck, or stock mount. If you have a damaged or broken
body bolt, you may replace it with no larger than a ½” bolt. If you cut bolts out, 3” max
washer on top of the body and one side of the frame only. First and last body bolt does not need to be mounted in place.
4. FENDERS: may have up to (4) 3” bolts per fender.
5. HOOD: you may have (6) ⅜” bolts per cut out in hood webbing. 6 spots for hood hold
downs, 1” max. Only (2) may go to frame, the others sheet metal to sheet metal only.
You may weld washers to sheet metal if using 9 wire; 1” washer max. No more than a 6”
spacer in core support, 3”X3” max. No welding to core support or frame.
6. TRUNK: (6) hold downs max. ⅜” chain, (4) strands of 9 wire, or (6) 3”X4”X1/4” plates.
50% tuck on trunk, no dishing. Tail light panel must remain vertical.
7. DOORS: doors may be chained, welded, or wired in 3 spots per door seam. The Driver's
door may be welded for safety. Window seams are allowed 8” of total weld. (3) loops of 9
wire max.
8. FRAMES: Frames must be stock. No stubbing, tipping, cold bending, or altering in any
way. You may shorten the front frame on ‘80 and newer ford products.
Fresh Cars: Allowed two plates 4x6 ¼. No more than one per frame rail. Crushbox
forward, no plates beyond the firewall.
Preran Cars: Allowed four plates max. No stacking of plates and must be at least 1” in
between plates. No cutting or splitting of plates.
9. CAGE: Mandatory 4 point cage. Door bars can only be 60” long, no more than 6” past
the rear seat bar. Rear seat bar can be no further back than 6” past the middle door
pillar. Halo bar can be attached to the seat bar by welding or bolting. You may bolt the
halo bar to the roof with (2) 7/16” bolts max. (4) vertical down bars may be welded or
bolted to sheet metal only. Fuel cell protector must be 4” away from the seat panel and
3” off the floor; no wider than 32”.
10. REAR ENDS: you may run any 5 lug or 8 lug rear end. 9” rear end is allowed; weld on
perches. You may be allowed to run 33 spline max axle. You may have a simple brace
on the back of the rear end. No more than 2”X4” material from hub to hub on rear only.
IF USING 8 BOLT REAR END, NO BRACING ALLOWED.
11. SUSPENSION: stock upper and lower A arms: you may run up to (1) ⅜” chain OR
2X4X1/4” strap to gain height. Steering boxes must be stock, NO truck parts. You may
interchange tie rods as long as they are car type and stock. You may interchange car
type spindles, bolt on only. No threaded rods or bolts may be used to replace ball joints.
No screw in ball joints unless factory with make and model of vehicle. Height of 21” max,
15” min, from bottom of bumper or frame, whichever is lowest.
12. RADIATORS: stock or aluminum only. No protectors. You may but a ¾” mesh in front of the radiator, 2” wider than radiator OR a/c condenser. Must have stock upper and lower
core support.
13. ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN: transmission must have a factory aluminum bell housing or any
aftermarket aluminum bolt on housing. Transmission coolers are allowed, lines must be
safely protected. Transmission crossmember; may use 2”X2” square tubing or stock
crossmember. DO NOT pressure your transmission into the tunnel, there MUST be
significant space between transmission and tunnel. Stock type driveshaft or slider
driveshaft is allowed. Basic lower cradle may be used with head plate, NO midplates.
Pulley protector is allowed but the sway bar has to be removed.
14. STEERING: NO hydraulic steering. Aftermarket steering columns are allowed, all other
steering components have to be stock.
15. TIRES/WHEELS: Any tire besides solid tires are allowed. Full weld in wheel centers may
be used. No bead locks allowed. 1” wide bead lip protectors allowed.
NO GRANDFATHERED CARS PERIOD! UNLESS THEY PASS RULES LISTED
ABOVE

Power Wheels: Entry is FREE

SAFETY IS FIRST FOR THE POWER WHEELS CLASS FOR ALL CHILDREN
1. This is supposed to be fun for the kids! Parents: please do not ruin it for them
2. Power Wheels derby is for kids 4-10 years old, and must be accompanied by an adult
and have minor release form completed
3. Helmets are MANDATORY. Bicycle helmets are okay
4. No 4-wheeler power wheels allowed
5. Passengers are allowed per officials discretion
6. Derby is limited to (1) 6 or 12 volt battery/Milwaukee, Dewalt style
7. Doors, hoods, and tailgates must be secured by bungee cord, rope, zip tie, or similar
8. Rubber material may be may be wrapped around tires for traction and may be secured with maximum of (3) screws.
