Redwood Valley’s season came to an end Saturday with a hard-fought 4-3 loss to Luverne.

Max Dillon turned in a strong performance on the mound, throwing the first four innings while allowing just two earned runs and striking out five batters. Luke Kaupang provided two scoreless innings of relief, striking out four.

Trailing 4-0 heading into the top of the fifth inning, the Cardinals battled back with three runs to make it a one-run game. Max Dillon, Josh Gunderson, and Dylan Benson each drove in a run during the rally.

Once again, we would like to thank our seniors for everything they have contributed to the Redwood Valley Baseball program throughout their careers. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment have helped shape our program and will leave a lasting impact.

To our parents, families, and fans, thank you for your support both on and off the field throughout the season. We greatly appreciate everything you do for our players and program.
