This last weekend, the Peninsula Vault Club traveled through heavy snow to Reno, Nevada for the annual Pole Vault Summit. This is a world-wide pole vault convention in which vaulters get instruction from the world's best vaulters, they can watch the world's best compete, and then the athletes compete in a sanctioned competition. This year two vaulters from the club each set school records. All in all, it was a great weekend. Special thanks to the sponsors for the uniforms, W.L. Butler and the Redwood City Police Officer's Association!
