Those of you who remember Gwyn from the gym, she is shooting a movie this fall in Redwood City! About a topic that is becoming, unfortunately, more prevalent than ever.
"Excited to announce the fundraising campaign for my short film, RANSOM, shooting in Redwood City in November 2024. Based on a relative's real-life experience with a fake kidnapping scam, the film will be made available, free of charge, to senor centers, libraries and community centers, in partnership with city and county programs that educate and support seniors.
Protect your family: talk to your elders, talk to your kids. Decide on a "code word" to prove your or their identity, something that only you and they could know. Tell your friends! We can do this."
