Silicon Valley Ice Theatre is a performing arts team representing Peninsula Skating Club in San Jose, CA. SVIT trains in Redwood City and competes in USFS National Competitions and ice shows around the Bay Area. Our program's purpose is to train youth to perform artistically as a team while developing technical ice skating skills and athleticism. Figure Skating, as well as performing for local exhibitions. Training emphasizes the performing arts, with the ultimate goal of creating a theatrical production that showcases the skaters' athletic training as well as their musical and lyrical talents. Team members serve their community by assisting teachers in the skating school program, as well as mentoring developmentally disabled children learning to ice skate as part of a Special Skaters Program.
