You read that right! 🩷 We are offering TWO teams this year! Competition team tryouts are THIS SUNDAY 9/13 from 11-1pm. More info below!

We are so excited to offer TWO Competition Team options this year! 🎉 Our goal is to give dancers the opportunity to experience competition at a level that works best for them and their families.

⭐ PREMIER COMPETITION TEAM

Our Premier Competition Team is a brand-new option designed for dancers who are ready to experience the competition world with a smaller commitment.

Dancers in Elevate Company or Entertainment Production Company are eligible to audition for Premier Comp.

Premier Comp includes:

-Participation in 2 competitions, selected by our Staff.
-Dancers will compete in 1 or 2 group routines, based on the parent’s preference.
- A smaller time and financial commitment than Pro Comp
- Premier Comp dancers are not eligible for solos.

This team is perfect for dancers who want to dip their toes into competition, gain more performance experience, and see what the competition experience is all about!

🏆 PRO COMPETITION TEAM

Our Pro Competition Team is designed for our more experienced, veteran competition dancers who are ready for a larger commitment.

Pro Comp includes:

-Participation in all 4 competitions
-Opportunities to compete in group routines, solos, and duets.
- A higher level of commitment throughout the competition season.

At this time, Elevate Company dancers are not eligible for Pro Comp.

We’re so excited to offer these two pathways this season and give more of our dancers the chance to experience the excitement, growth, and fun of competing! 💕

Sent our girl off the best way we know how- pizza, singing and a boat ride! We are so proud of you Lilian. There are no words to describe how inspirational you have been to these dancers, and we couldn’t be more honored to have been part of your journey. Dance is always so much more than a sport- it’s builds lifelong friendships, morals, life skills, confidence- and Lilian embodies all of that. We love you and we can’t wait until you come home for Thanksgiving!!

Wrapping up our summer guest series with two unbelievable guest teachers- Xavier and Shelby!! We are SO lucky they came to SSB and shared their love and passion with our dancers! The energy in the studio has been fire these past few months and we loved having them join us! We can’t wait until they come again! ❤️❤️

We couldn’t have a guest series and not have our favorite hip hop dancer come through!! Xavier will be teaching this Thursday 6-7:30pm and you don’t want to miss this!

Xavier is the creator and founder of the 1UP hip hop crew. He was also a member of the Warriors Dance Team Blue Crew, and he is currently dancing professionally in LA. You can catch Xavier performing alongside artists including Kendrick Lamar and more! We are so lucky to have him teach this week!!

We are SO excited to have Shelby join our guest series this summer, for a special fierce jazz class! Shelby trained with the Oakland Ballet before majoring in Dance at SJSU. She danced professionally as a San Jose Saberkitten and spent two seasons dancing for the Warriors. We are so lucky to have Shelby with us this Tuesday! Join us from 7-8:30!

We’re looking for great teachers who can bring expertise in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Acro/Tumbling to our studio, as we are looking to add several more classes to our schedule to give our dancers more opportunities to dance!
