All levels welcome! I’m Ryan. I’m a So Cal native, a travel hidden gem adventurer, and passionate about fitness. I have been a Trainer in the South Bay for nearly 20 years. My girlfriend and I have four kids, two boys and two girls, whom we love so much. Before I took fitness seriously. The scale went up, and I didn’t see results. Some days were rough – sometimes, I felt like I wasn’t making any p

rogress. But I kept getting after it, stayed consistent, and I got there! And you can too! It didn’t happen overnight, and it wasn’t a quick fix. But, it was small changes here and there to get long-term results without forsaking anything I love. I admit it wasn’t easy to exercise constantly, but I did it because I knew it was good for me and gave me more energy to do the things I am passionate about. And now, I continue to exercise because it gives me strength and the spark to be a better person. This is one of the reasons I do Training: I want to help change people’s lives through fitness. I was able to change my own, and I would love to help you change yours. Whether your goals are to fit comfortably into your clothes, get stronger, lose weight, get a flat stomach, have more energy to take on the day, tone up, feel empowered, and more, I want to help YOU get there! What’s Your Goal?

If your workouts have started feeling complicated... simplify them.

These 5 movement patterns cover the foundation of strength training:

✅ Squat
✅ Hinge
✅ Lunge
✅ Push
✅ Pull

They're the same movements you use every day—getting up from a chair, picking something up, climbing stairs, pushing a door open, or pulling something toward you.

The stronger you become at these, the easier everyday movement can feel.

Save this for your next workout, and follow me for more simple, science-backed strategies for people committed to staying strong.

I can’t tell you how many times over the years I’ve heard some version of:

I really want to focus on myself again… I just need life to calm down first.
But then commitments (work, family, personal) ramp up, routines change, the dog needs to go to the vet…
… and somehow you slide to the bottom of the list again.

After more than 20 years of coaching people through busy seasons of life, here’s what I know:

If you’re waiting for things to calm down, you’re going to be waiting a long time.

September becomes October… October becomes the holidays… and before you know it, it’s NEXT YEAR!

The people who stay strong, energized, and consistent are the ones with a plan that works with their life instead of requiring everything else to stop.

If you’re done waiting for life to “settle down,” DM me WORD, and we can talk about a plan that works for you. 🤍

It's not just what you eat. It's also when.

Research on chrononutrition suggests that meal timing may affect things like blood sugar response, appetite, and how your body processes food throughout the day.

Your metabolism follows a daily rhythm, so when you eat may be another piece of the puzzle — along with what you eat, how much you eat, and your overall consistency.

👉 3 ways to experiment with this today:
✅ Eat a real breakfast that includes protein and other foods that help keep you satisfied
✅ Don't let lunch be an afterthought — give your body the fuel it needs for the rest of the day
✅ When it works for your schedule, experiment with shifting a little more of your nutrition earlier in the day
You don't need to completely change the way you eat or stop eating after a certain time.

Small changes can add up.

One thing I've learned after coaching people for nearly 20 years...

The people who succeed aren't usually the ones with the most motivation.

They're the ones who keep showing up, even when life gets busy.

Nobody has perfect weeks.
Vacations happen.
Work gets stressful.
Kids get sick.
Schedules change.

The people who make lasting progress don't wait for everything to be perfect before getting back on track.

They simply do the next right thing.

One workout.
One healthy meal.
One good night's sleep.

Those small choices add up far more than trying to be perfect for a week and then starting over.

If you've fallen off track recently, don't worry about making up for lost time.
Just focus on what you can do today.

That's enough.

Your weekly grocery run plays a huge role in reaching your gut health goals.

Get it right, and healthy eating almost takes care of itself.

Here's a simple strategy that makes it work FOR you:
✔️ Eat before you go, so hunger doesn't make your decisions for you.
✔️ Go in with a list and stick with it.
✔️ Shop at the same store every time.
✔️ Scan labels for protein, fiber, and sugar.
✔️ Make it a game and see how fast you can get in and out.
✔️ Buy ingredients, not products.

A little planning goes a long way.

📌 Save this for your next grocery run!

You know those nights when cooking is the last thing you want to do?

This is the recipe I make for those nights.

It's easy, packed with protein, and the leftovers make lunch a no-brainer.

🍲 Chicken and White Bean Stew
Serves 4

2 Tbsp olive oil
1 yellow onion, finely chopped
5 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled
1 tsp dried thyme
Red pepper flakes to taste
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 cups (960ml) chicken broth
2 (15oz / 425g) cans cannellini beans, drained
1 bunch kale, escarole, or another dark leafy green, stems removed and leaves coarsely chopped

1️⃣ Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring often, until softened and golden, 8 to 10 minutes.
2️⃣ Add chicken, broth, and white beans. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until chicken is cooked through (165°F / 74°C), 10 to 14 minutes.
3️⃣ Transfer chicken to a bowl. Smash some beans against the side of the pot to thicken the broth. Stir in the greens and simmer uncovered while you shred the chicken.
4️⃣ Shred chicken with two forks. Stir back into the stew and season to taste.

Whenever I'm coming back from a vacation or a busy stretch of life, I know one thing to be true...

Getting back into my routine is the hardest part.

But I also know something else.

Once I get moving, it becomes a whole lot easier to keep going.

That's the power of momentum.

The first workout is usually the hardest.
The first healthy meal takes the most effort.
The first week can feel like a grind.

But after that?
Things start to feel more automatic.

If you've been waiting for the "perfect" Monday or the right time to get started, don't.

Just take the first step today.

Momentum has a funny way of building on itself.

💪 What's one healthy choice you can make today?
