Always trying to think outside the box as a teacher. Something as simple as throwing a soccer ball back and forth with young students can serve as a fun and dynamic way to train forehand and backhand groundstrokes! It teaches rotation, knee bend, extension, and even footwork preparation while waiting to catch the ball. Right after we finish a set of 10 catches my student runs to get her racquet and we move right into bounce hit forehands with more success!
