Fit Kids Camp is the place to be when kids are out of school! We serve up lots of learning, a ton of action, and way more fun than anyone ever thought possible!
Each camp features a unique art project and special activity.

At this camp, kids will explore all things winter: have a cotton snowball fight, swing on a rope and knock over a barrel snowman, sled down our SuperSlide, and build an epic fort!

Winter Camp is offered on the following dates:
• Friday Dec 22 - Torrance Only
• Week 1: Dec 26-29 – Torrance and Redondo Beach
• Week 2: Jan 2-5 – Torrance and Redondo Beach
• You can sign up for the days you want!

Here are some details:
• Camp is for kids ages 5 through 12.
• You do not have to be currently enrolled at Fit Kids to sign up. Tell your friends!
• Tuition is $89 per day with a 10% sibling discount!
• Camp activities start at 9:00am and go until 1:00pm. Doors open at 8:30am.

Hi Parents!
It's Winter Break, and that means no school. Your kids will be looking for some fun things to do, and you want those activities to be safe. What are you going to do? We have the answer; bring them to us! We are experts at keeping kids safe, active, and happy. Here are some of the things we’ll do:

Arts-n-crafts
Having way more fun than anyone ever thought possible

Hey Everyone,

It's Summer and the kids are still out of school. You may be wondering, “What’s a parent to do?” We have the answer: bring them to us for a fun day of camp! We are experts at keeping kids safe, active and happy. Here are some of the things we’ll do:

Gymnastics, gymnastics, and more gymnastics
Trampoline
Arts-n-crafts
Having way more fun than anyone ever thought possible

Our camp operating procedures have been reviewed and approved by the LA County Department of Health!

Camp is for kids ages 5 through 10 and you do not have to be currently enrolled at Fit Kids to sign up for camp. Tell your friends! Here are more details:

Dates: August 17 to 25, 2020 - Pick the days you want!
Camp will be at our Redondo Beach and Torrance Locations
Tuition is $69 for each half day, 9:00am - 12:30pm.
Camp activities start at: 9:00 AM and go until 12:30 PM. The doors open in the morning at 8:45 AM.

In my last post, I said that we expected to open on June 1, 2020. Well, so much for foreseeing the future! We will still be closed on June 1, and will remain closed until the LA County Dept. of Health gives us the green light to reopen. Yesterday marked the 11th week that we have been closed. I am happy to report that none of our employees have been laid off or have been asked to reduce their work hours during that time. The reason we were able to do that while other gyms struggle to survive is that we were prepared. We are now taking that same approach to our eventual reopening. You can be confident that we will be examining every aspect of our facilities, operations and teaching systems to make Fit Kids the safest place possible for our students, their families and our employees.

In the meantime, we continue to offer online classes until we reopen. You can sign up for these on our website, and if your family has been financially impacted by Covid-19, we are happy to offer these classes at a discounted rate. Just call our office at (310) 297-9550.

Dear Fit Kids families,

What a whirlwind of a week it has been. I want to give you an update on all of us at Fit Kids. We are all at home, healthy and finding productive ways to occupy our time till our revised re-opening date of May 5, 2020.

No one knows how long it will take for things to return to normal, so in the meantime there are three things I want to share with you.

No Fit Kids families will be charged tuition or registration fees until we re-open to the public. Naturally, we will contact you ahead of time. We will never charge for services that cannot be provided.
As a company, we are well prepared for an extended closure should that be the case. You can be sure that when things return to normal, Fit Kids will be there to serve you and your families again.
When we re-open to the public, we will be better than ever. How? We will be working hard in the coming weeks to improve our facility, teaching systems and health practices. The list of improvements will be wide ranging and I’ll be sharing them with you in the coming weeks.
Until then, continue social distancing, watch what you touch, wash your hands and keep the faith!

Dear Fit Kids Families,

We have been monitoring the progress of Coronavirus COVID-19. According to the Los Angeles County Dept. of Public Health, social distancing is the recommended action to be taken by the general public at this time. To accommodate this recommendation, we will be cancelling all classes, team practices, camps and private lessons starting Saturday, March 14. We expect to resume regular operations on April 13. We know that a month is a long time for your child to go without gymnastics, but we believe that a cautious approach is best.

Although we will not be having any classes over the next month, we will be hard at work cleaning, disinfecting, renovating, and thoroughly reviewing all of our company policies and systems to make sure that we have left no stone unturned in order to make Fit Kids as safe as possible for our students, their families and our employees.

We will be staying in touch via email and social media as more is learned about this rapidly evolving health problem that we all face and our approach to successfully navigating through it.

Dear Fit Kids families,

As with all contagious illnesses, Fit Kids is vigilantly monitoring COVID-19, more commonly referred to as Coronavirus. Our leadership team will continue to work closely with the Center for Disease Control and The Department of Public Health in monitoring Coronavirus. Should additional plans and procedures need to be put in place we will keep you updated.

In our efforts to keep our students and employees healthy and safe we ask your complete cooperation in upholding our illness policy. If your child exhibits any of the following symptoms please keep him/her home until symptoms subside for 24 hours: fever, achiness, excessively runny nose, coughing, breathing difficulties, shortness of breath, vomiting, diarrhea, red and itchy eyes, unidentified rash. If your child displays these symptoms in class, we will insist that they leave class, and schedule a make-up class when they’ve recovered. We recognize that missing a class can be inconvenient; however, it is imperative for the health and safety of all Fit Kids families and employees that children are healthy when coming to class. As always, we will be as liberal with our class make ups as possible.

Fit Kids’s cleaning and hand washing procedures will be rigorously upheld to minimize the spread of all illness. In addition to fostering good hygiene procedures at home, we ask that your child wash his/her hands or use the hand sanitizing stations before coming into class/practice.

Fit Kids Gymnastics Center is looking for a part-time customer service employee. Hours are weekday evenings and weekend mornings. Perfect hours for a high school or college student. If you know someone please send them our way to apply. We are accepting applications at our Redondo location Monday-Friday between 10 AM and 7 PM and weekends between 9 AM and noon.
