With the news and developments of COVID-19, we wanted to contact you all directly to inform you that we are taking this situation seriously. We are monitoring all details extremely closely and following the guidelines set forth by the CDC and other government bodies and outlets.
At this current stage, we will be suspending South Bay Sports Leagues at Aviation Park, and our Santa Monica League at Cross Roads H.S. immediately.
The situation is fluid, but at this time, we can confirm that the closure will continue through Sunday, April 5, 2020. Aviation leagues will resume on Monday, April 6th (Pending on the developments of COVID-19). Our Santa Monica Leagues will resume on Sunday April 17th(Pending on the developments of COVID-19).
We will alert you as soon as possible of a decision to resume normal operations.
We encourage everyone – including players, Spectators, and families to follow the best practices as outlined by the CDC, which include washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (if soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer); avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands; and avoid close contact with people who are sick. We would also encourage you all to limit close, physical contact with others (including shaking hands).
