Chuck Watson and I stopped by to see Bill Ron using the visitation app at
https://volunteersignup.org/3WMAX. He's doing better. Long ways to go, but can get himself out of the wheelchair into the car, and is working on walking with a cane. The wheelchair ramp and bedside rail are a big help in his safety, thanks to Beach Cities CC. Speaking more distinctly, but in not quite intelligible sentences. Pay him a visit!

We've set up a scheduling app for visits to Bill at his home. Bill's friends can give valuable encouragement and motivation by interacting with him there. Visit Bill as he works on recovering his mental and physical skills on any Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, 10a to 5 . Sign up to visit roughly within the two-hour slots shown in the app. We will email directions & contact info to you after you sign up. His caregiver is Pilar. And post a visit summary on Facebook, or reply to this site manager within the app. These are soft time slots, so if you can't sign up, just show up on those days.

We've created this page to support Bill Ron and his family as he undergoes long-term recovery from a massive stroke. There is a donation site for him - see the first comment below for the link.
Bill is a master mechanic for track cycling with a small business in Redondo that is reknown world-wide. See billronbikes-dot-com for his resume. This terrific man and his lovely wife Thekla and children can use your support for some time, either in financial donations or visitations and therapy equipment. Bill is now home and working on recovery under Thekla's loving care - but has a long ways to go. Thank you
