🌍✈️ They arrive tomorrow! ✈️🌍

Kaizen Academy is excited to welcome back two FCC world-class athletes:

🇨🇭 Virginia Romeo – Swiss National Team member and international medalist
🇮🇹 Nicolò “Nico” Del Contrasto – Junior World Championship medalist and U23 Italian Champion

Virginia and Nico will be training at Kaizen Monday–Thursday, giving our athletes the chance to learn from some of the best in the world.

📚⚔️ What a great time we had at Audubon Elementary this week for the presentation of the multi-award-winning book Duel! Author Jessixa Bagley was there to share her book, which explores conflict resolution and emotional management through the context of fencing.

If you have a child in grades 6–8, we highly recommend checking out Duel.

A special thank you to Ketki and Rie for volunteering their time and putting on an excellent fencing demonstration for the students.

Last weekend was a busy one for Team Kaizen, with athletes competing in Seattle, Las Vegas, and Vancouver, BC!

🇨🇦 Dynamo Youth Open (Vancouver)
Great job to SJ, Ethan, and Sanat for representing Kaizen and gaining valuable competitive experience.

🏅 SAS Open
Congratulations to Anya for representing in Cadet Mixed Epee, and a huge shoutout to Dylan, who took home gold in Y14 Men’s Epee! 🥇

🌟 SJCC Las Vegas
At one of the most competitive events on the national calendar, Rie, Vivienne, Ivory, Devin, Jacob, Timbo, Colby, and Sina stepped onto the strip ready to compete. They fought hard, represented Kaizen with pride, and showed that they belong on the national stage.

Every tournament is an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve. We are proud of every athlete who stepped onto the strip this weekend and embraced the challenge.

🎉⚔️🐉 Two parties. One day. Completely different adventures.

Tomorrow we celebrated not one, but TWO birthday parties at Kaizen Academy! From one exciting theme to another, our fencers will jump into action, play games, duel with friends, and created unforgettable memories.

We love seeing each birthday become its own unique adventure. Happy Birthday to our special birthday fencers—we hope you have an amazing day! 🎂🎈

What a fantastic weekend of fencing, teamwork, and growth!

🥇 Congratulations to our Y10 Gold Medal Team — the Foot Touchers:

🥈 Congratulations to our Y14 Silver Medal Team — the Rascals:
Devin, Tristan, and Hunter

Beyond the medals, we are incredibly proud of every athlete who stepped onto the strip. Everyone fenced hard, supported their teammates, faced challenges with courage, and gained valuable experience along the way.
