Keeping mineral sites active helps to keep deer healthy, keep them coming back to the area, and give you more opportunities to capture them on camera. 📸🦌
In late summer, deer start eating more plants and other foods with lots of moisture. Minerals are important during this time because they help support healthy digestion and overall deer health.
I like to start my sites in the spring time in an area with cover and a water source. This allows the bucks to get those minerals before and during their antler growth. I use different varieties of Redmond | Trophy Rock for my mineral & for this particular site I am using a Wildgame Innovations camera!
