Went to Mert Lawwill’s celebration of life yesterday. What an amazing way to celebrate and share memories of the legend! Thank you Joe and your family for putting together such a great event allowing so many people whose lives were touched by Mert to gather and share memories of your father and friend to countless others. The ceremony was a relaxed gathering with people recounting stories from his youth, motorcycle, mountain biking and prosthetics eras of his life. The beautiful 24 page program also tells the story of “A Life Well Lived”, along with his family and wife June. I hope the pictures convey a small fraction of Mert’s amazing legacy.

Great meeting friends in bike bike industry across the border. Two great days of learning and sharing with amazing people in the bike industry. Plus right in the middle of Crankworx. Really appreciate such friendly people and Whistler is a beautiful place. Look forward to coming back soon and if you have never been to Canada you are missing out visiting our beautiful neighbors to the North!
