Listen up. You want to hit sixes like the pros? Here’s the secret nobody has told you yet. It’s all in the hips.
You’ve been standing there swinging with just your arms like you’re swatting mosquitoes at a summer BBQ. That’s adorable. That’s also why the ball keeps dying at mid-wicket while the bowler is already planning his send. 😭
Power doesn’t come from your biceps. No matter how many gym selfies say otherwise. 💀
Power comes from the ground up. Feet plant. Hips rotate. Shoulders follow. Bat accelerates. Skip the hip rotation and you’re basically a sports car with no engine. Looks great. Goes nowhere. 🚗💨
Think of your hips as the launch pad. Lock them up and you’re a rocket that never leaves the ground. Unleash them and suddenly that cricket ball is buying a one-way ticket to the parking lot. 🚀
