Train movements first. Train muscles next.

Nothing is better than attacking the muscle that contributes to a movement with intention.
It’s much harder to target a muscle or muscle groups when you haven’t yet obtained a full understanding of the movement itself.

Let go of how much the scale went up, it’s the holidays.

Stop obsessing over the scale everyday because your weight will always fluctuate depending on the day.

Don't panic about over-night weight gain. If your weight changed in 24 hours its more than likely bloating aka water weight due to increased carb intake, increased sodium, travel, sleep etc.

Obsess over being healthier and stronger, not what a number on the scale says. The number on the scale will not tell you how strong or how much better your health is then when you started. Focus on the positive add-ins and other indicators of progress like strength increases, healthy blood work, gut/gi-tract improvement, better energy, decreased pain, and less sick days. You can be 120lbs and be the most unhealthy you've ever been or 150lbs and be your strongest and healthiest self. Stop chasing a number and chase a better you!

With the year almost at an end everyone is going to have some big goals they want to accomplish so here’s a couple tips to keep in mind.

You do not need to work out 7 days a week for 2+ hours everyday to get amazing results.

The biggest factors in your progress are CONSISTENCY , PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD, and EFFECTIVE PROGRAMING.

You can build a strong body with just
2-3 days a week if you stick to it.

No but really Dreadlocks are more than just a symbol or statement of disregard for physical appearance.
Different traditions believe bodily, mental, and spiritual energies exit the body through the top of the head and the hair. If the hair is loced, the energy remains within the hair and the body, keeping a person strong and healthy.
Perfect example of this would be the story of Samson. Samson had unsurpassed God given strength, but lost it when Delilah cut off his seven* locks of hair.

Find your strength in who you are and celebrate what makes you unique.
