Okay, I’ve been a trainer for many, many years. I’ll admit that I’m super picky when it come to my own fitness and training (yep, trainers need trainers too). In comes and her mad Pilates skills (my newest obsession)😅
Once again, she killed me in all the best ways. Don’t let that smiling queen fool you, she’s sneaky like that. Legs-‘o-fire🦵🏼🔥 … and, oh, those cramped toes🤦🏻‍♀️
Other than my first trainer/mentor, former Marine🇺🇸Eddie, a.k.a. Badass, I haven’t really found someone who just checked all the boxes. Well, until I bought this damn rower. If you are looking for “that” online trainer, Jeni is your hucklebee hands down. 😜

When Campbell soup just won’t cut it. Flying solo this evening, so decided to throw the kitchen fridge into a pot and see what happens. Deliciousness. Deliciousness is what happened. I’m an organic kind of girl, so these are my organic throw-ins: Chicken broth, shredded chicken, vegetable radiatore pasta, carrots, onion, celery, and lots of pepper and spices, SO easy! Just thrown in your faves and chow down😋 😘

Time to switch things up? Possibly. I know, it can be intimidating and overwhelming, but if you’re stuck in a rut, not happy, have no energy, find yourself often complaining, etc., then it’s time to close that door and crack open a new one. This is the deal, no one is going to do it for you. They might want to, and might even try to, but at the end of the day, it’s your choice to make those necessary changes. IYKYK, you know?😘

My current obsession popped up with this gem today. So fitting and so true! My little “color by number” down-time habit spoke volumes.
Over the years, I have had many clients hire me telling me they “just want to get healthy.” Don’t get me wrong, I think that’s awesome and I love me some goals! However, it’s not something that can be achieved by physical training alone. It truly is a mental, physical, and lifestyle combo. It won’t happen overnight, and that’s okay! It’s the willingness to make changes, tweak a few things here and there, and chip away at poor habits that will lead you to the healthy lifestyle we all desire.
When everything else seems so out of our control right now, it’s the perfect time to take over your own life!! Who’s in?

I had some goals today. Full disclosure, wasn’t feeling it, and I’m not quite there yet, but it’s only 10am and there’s plenty of daylight left. Set your intention before you roll out of bed. It puts you in the right frame of mind from the get-go, so you CAN get-going!!
