Here’s what my life actually looks like:

I live in a trailer on my parents’ property. My mom is one of my best friends. She and my partner Sean often watch my kids when I teach.

I help Sean with Ginger Delights . We don’t live together, but our lives are deeply interconnected — me and my kids have many homes.

I care part time for Winston, our sweet dog, who also stays with my nana, Sean, and my mom. And Sean and I care for 3 cats together. So much animal love!

I teach private sessions, at schools and children’s organizations, sub at studios, and offer public group classes 2–3 times a week. I teach for James Woods, MFT | SEL Speaker 🗣️ alongside a community of children’s yoga teachers who support each other in our personal endeavors. I also volunteer for Big Bear Yoga Festival .

I’m also very involved in supporting my loved ones who are DJs — going to their events, spreading the word, and developing my own dance performance skills.

I shop for Instacart in my free time.

And I have 5 siblings and their children who I love so much. I prioritize traveling to visit them whenever I can.

Then there’s my chosen family. The ones who help look after each other’s kids so we can work or rest. The ones who design wonderful experiences and memories for my children. The ones who help each other build toward the dreams we have.

Finally, there are all of you who engage with my content, lift me up with your words, and make me feel like I have what it takes to do it all.

This is not a simple life. It’s a full one. And I couldn’t do any of it alone.

I used to think needing help meant I was weak. Now I know: interdependence is strength. I am held. And because I am held, I can hold your children.

Grateful for every single one of you that supports me. You know who you are 😉💗

Do you know what the hardest part of teaching yoga to children is?

It’s not coming up with attention-grabbing activities for the kids. It’s not the puzzle of making mindfulness fun. Not managing a room full of wiggly bodies and wandering minds. Not the teaching itself.

It’s not even the emotional weight of showing up for other people’s children while navigating my own complicated life.

So what is it?

Putting myself out there. Sending invitations. Advertising my classes. Staying consistent on social media so the algorithm doesn’t forget I exist. Bringing up my work in person without feeling like I’m selling something.

I teach because I love it. I promote because I have to. And that tension — the pull between my passion and my discomfort with self-promotion — is the part I’m still learning to navigate.

If you’ve ever felt awkward about sharing your own work, you’re not alone. I’m right there with you.

My heart could burst. 🏝️ A parent of one of my OG yogis sent me pictures of her practicing on their vacation to Hawaii... 🌺✨

This sweet girl has been with me since the very beginning — over 4 years ago! Watching her grow, stretch, and take her practice all the way to the islands is everything.

I feel so proud to see my little yogis carry their practice with them wherever they go. ✈️

Keep flowing, sweet girl. The world is your mat. 🌊🧘🏽‍♀️💛

What a week. 🧡

Little Yogi Summer Camp Week 3 finally happened — and with 10 wonderful kids!

Of course, it started with a curveball — I started feeling sick Saturday evening before we were supposed to begin. My first instinct? Panic. 😅 But what unfolded over the next four days was nothing short of beautiful.

The kids colored mandalas, built rock mandalas, crafted zucchini boats, and made mindfulness books. They practiced yoga every day — learning breathwork, body exploration, and new yoga tricks. There was socializing, imaginary games, gardening, harvesting, feeding the farm animals, making lemonade and orange juice, and a water slide finale! 💦

Here’s the breakdown of how this week unfolded:

· Monday: My mom Erika led the whole day.
· Tuesday: Jeanne ran the show.
· Wednesday: I was feeling better, so I joined in, and Jeanne led yoga.
· Thursday: I lost my voice completely 😅 — my mom stepped in for the first hour, and Jeanne took over from there.

Here’s what I realized this week:

If I didn’t know it before, I sure feel it now — we are not meant to do life alone. We are deeply, beautifully dependent on each other. Asking for help isn’t weakness. It’s connection. It’s community.

Because I got sick, these kids got MORE variety. MORE perspectives. MORE love from MORE people. My mom. Jeanne. Both showing up with open hearts.

What could have been a stressful week turned into a gift. For me. For the kids. For all of us.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Erika and Jeanne for carrying this week with so much grace. And thank YOU parents for trusting us with your little ones. Erika Lambert 𝙼𝚊𝚐𝚒𝚔 𝚈𝚘𝚐𝚊 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝙹𝚎𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚎 🧞‍♀️

Week 4 starts June 29 — and I’ll be there with bells on. 🤞🌿

This woman made Little Yogi Camp shine today! ☀️

Jeanne stepped in and absolutely rocked it with the little yogis. First my momma, then Jeanne?! How lucky can I be? 🌟

I am so grateful for my support system—couldn’t do this without them! 🙏

Check her out 💫

Have you seen the kids doing the sea lion dance? 🦭

Because apparently, it’s a whole thing — and I can’t unsee it.

Technically, bow pose (Dhanurasana) is a backbend where you hold your feet behind you and rock. But if you add a little wiggle and some dramatic flailing, it becomes a sea lion.

I’m not mad about it. In fact, I think this is the most joyful variation of bow pose I’ve ever seen.

So here’s your reminder: yoga doesn’t always have to be serious. Sometimes it’s just a bunch of kids flopping around like sea lions, laughing so hard they forget they’re even stretching.

And honestly? That’s the best kind of yoga.

Have your kids tried the sea lion dance? Drop a 🦭 in the comments if they’re fans!

Keep flopping, little yogis. ✨
