You don't have to get out of bed in the morning!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You don't have to go to work!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Most of us decide to do these things because we WANT to accomplish something today. We do the dishes because we WANT clean dishes to eat off of. We go to work because we WANT to earn money to pay for things we need and want. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sometimes you just need to say "NO"! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you feel like you are running at the speed of sound?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you feel "empty" at the end of the day with nothing left to give?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you feel like something needs to give or you are going to break?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you raised your hand to any or all of the questions above, then I want to offer you the option of just saying "NO"! That's right! NO!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being a former people pleaser I rarely, if ever, used that word when people asked me to do something. My most frequent response was..... "Of course! I'd love to!" when what I really meant was.... "I don't think I can add one more thing to my plate." Anyone else???⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you know it's okay to say no? It's 100% true! Here are a few ways you can say no without feeling "bad" about it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✔ Thank you for thinking of me however, at this point in time I'm going to have to pass.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✔ I want to be honest with you and let you know I'm not able to help with that right now.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✔ I'm focusing on myself and my family so it's a no for me. Thanks!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No long explanation needed. Grant yourself mental space! I promise you that people will understand and respect you for being honest and setting boundaries! And if not, that's okay too! 😉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
