Cedar Rock Farm LLC Cedar Rock Farm LLC is a small family-run farm where we raise cows, chickens, pigs and care for a few horses that we enjoy. We do sell pigs and farm fresh eggs.

Our goal is to become more self-sufficient, and fully enjoy the beauty of farm life.

Overall, it was a productive day in terms of organization📥

All the animals behaved well, resulting in no notable incidents📰

We'll need to rest up tonight as the vet is scheduled to arrive early tomorrow for some castrations✂️

It's amazing what animals can get into 🤔

The other evening went to feed the pigs 🐖

I 👂 heard one oinking a little differently than normal

As I walked up he has bailing twine🧶 wrapped around the top of his snout 🐽 and the other end is connected to the fence. Of course he is pulling back trying to get away and the twine is getting tighter

So I run🏃‍♀️ and get the knife🔪 and cut the twine. Now the twine🧶 is still pretty tight on his snout🐽 and won't fall off

Normally I can go in with him and pet him however Billy Bob Jr "BBJ"🐖 was not having this so we had to catch him and hold him down to remove the twine from his snout🐽

No clue 🤷‍♀️how he got the twine around his snout ❓️❓️

We used the twine to secure the screen over his water barrel 💧and we had no hanging pieces at least that we were aware of.

BBJ amazingly 🙌 was able to get a hold of it and basically hog tie himself 🤭

Now we will be doing modifications on securing the screen for all the barrels 🤦‍♀️

Do you have any crazy 🤪 situations that your livestock has gotten into❓️
