Season Passes are now available for the 26/27 Season with no price increases!

Enjoy unlimited winter access to the Southwest's Ski Town with the Platinum Pass, offering benefits like discounted tickets for friends and over 70 days of skiing at Freedom Pass resorts and partner mountains. If you’re stuck in a cubicle, get the Weekender Pass for Fridays through Sundays, with some blackout dates.

As a thank you and appreciation for their service, we are proud to offer discounts to Service Members and First Responders. Eligible Military & First Responders, including legal direct dependents, receive discounted Season Passes and can easily purchase them online by verifying their identity with ID.me.

Already a pass holder with a 25/26 Season Pass? Pass holders with a 25/26 Season Pass can take advantage of a discount to renew their current pass through December 10, 2026.

There’s still plenty of summer left to soak up the crisp mountain air in Red River, even as our activity schedule shifts for the rest of the summer season at the ski area.

The Scenic Summer Chairlift remains open daily through September 6th. After that, it will be open only on September 12th, 19th, and 26th. Pioneer Flyer Seated Zip Line, Summer Mountain Tubing, Hidden Treasure Aerial Park, Mini Golf, and the Moon Star Mining Co Sluice Box will be open on August 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th, and September 5th and 6th. Make the most of the rest of summer and spend some time in Red River!

As we near the upcoming holiday weekend, it’s important to be careful and respectful when visiting Red River and the surrounding Carson National Forest. Continued dry conditions have increased wildfire risk, and we must all do our best to protect our communities and resources.

On Tuesday, June 30th, at 8:00am, Stage 2 Fire Restrictions will take effect across the Carson National Forest. As you prepare to celebrate, remember that fireworks are always prohibited on National Forest Lands and within the Town of Red River.

Whether it is a tossed cigarette on the side of the road, trailer safety chains dragging on the road, or a careless spark from a campfire, it only takes one spark to ignite a wildfire that can threaten our communities and resources for residents and visitors alike. Help us protect our beautiful home by following all current fire restrictions on the Carson National Forest, within the Town of Red River, and in Taos County.

It was a fantastic weekend filled with excitement as we hosted 100 players for the 13th Annual Drew Judycki Memorial, a PDGA-sanctioned B-Tier event. The tournament was a great start to our summer, especially with three incredible aces hit that made the tournament even more memorable. We couldn’t have done it without the enthusiastic participation of players and the support of our local disc golf community. 🥏

The Scenic Summer Chairlift is now open for the summer! Ride the Platinum Chair today or tomorrow, May 23rd & 24th, from 9:00am - 4:00pm, to enjoy relaxing mountain views and grab lunch at the Tip Restaurant. The Scenic Summer Chairlift will be open May 29th-31st, June 5th-7th, and daily beginning June 12th.

Already beloved by local disc golf enthusiasts, Red River Ski Area is garnering attention outside the area, too: It was just named the #8 disc golf course in New Mexico for 2026 by UDisc, the #1 disc golf smartphone app and course directory.

With more than 100 courses in New Mexico and over 17,000 globally, the ranking is quite the accolade for both the Town of Red River and Red River Ski Area.

"Disc golf is one of the fastest-growing recreational activities in the world, with more than three new courses being built every day. That makes Red River Ski Area's ranking this year all the more impressive," said UDisc Co-founders Matt Krueger and Josh Lichti. "It takes time, care, and community to create award-winning disc golf experiences that leave players coming back for more, and this ranking is a testament to that hard work."

Disc golf, sometimes called frisbee golf, is played with similar rules to traditional golf, but uses flying discs and metal baskets instead of balls and clubs. The 30-minute ride takes you to the Summit, where the Tip Restaurant serves lunch both days.
