Hawk Nation, tomorrow is day one of pre-registration for the backpack and school supplies! 🎒 ✏️

Students must be enrolled in ROISD (click here to enroll/register for the school year - https://www.redoakisd.org/new2roisd) for the coming school year and meet free- and reduced-priced meal criteria to receive the items.

Eligible families MUST pre-register at the dates and times listed below. District staff will review registration and eligibility. Parents will need to bring their photo ID for verification.

• Location: Red Oak Middle School – 154 Louise Ritter Blvd.
• Monday, July 31, 2-6 p.m.
• Tuesday, August 1, 7:30-11:30 a.m.

The Red Oak Hawks had nothing to lose. After erasing a 21-point deficit on Friday night to force overtime against Denton Ryan, the Hawks went for the win.

Join us at the Hawks Community Pep Rally this Wednesday, November 9 at Goodloe Stadium! We will celebrate all the successes of our fall sports teams, introduce our winter sports athletes, and send off our Hawks Football team to the playoffs! The fun will begin at 6:00 PM. Come decked out in your Maroon!

Red Oak ISD loves hearing about our amazing employees! From our bus drivers and office staff to principals, custodians, teachers, and more - our Hawk Nation consists of the best of the best! Our employees exemplify the 4 Talons of the Hawk - Academic Readiness/Prepared, GRIT, Character, and Service!

Every day, Hawk staff go above and beyond in a variety of ways to lift up our students, provide academic assistance, mentor, be an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on! They launch clubs for kids, provide snacks and school supplies, go to their students' games, and call parents to check on them!

We want to hear from you - our awesome Hawk staff, parents, and students about your teacher, assistant principal, student nutrition worker, police officer, child care provider, co-worker, or another employee! Tell us what they have done to go above and beyond this year! Be sure to give us details!

One winner will be picked each grading period (6 weeks) and will be presented a $100 gift card from our district sponsors!

Online ticket sales end at NOON on Friday. Ticket sales at the stadium will begin at 5:30 PM and cost $8. Online tickets will be charged a convenience fee per transaction.

The Red Oak Founder’s Day Parade and Festival is coming up Saturday, September 11 and we want to honor our top HOMETOWN HEROES throughout the day! We will pick the top 10 to honor that day but will list all nominations on the Chamber webpage.

Take a minute and nominate your favorite Hero – police, fire, military, educators, doctors and nurses, coaches, parents, friends, and neighbors!

Everyone has a HERO in their life – and we want to honor yours!
