One of the very first people who worked for our parents when they started in 1985, and one of the kindest (and most patient with a couple of little 2-4 year old boys running around those first few years) people we’ve had the joy of knowing and calling a friend was Mary Byron McGhee. We lost Mary to the same cancer that took our mom but what a life they both lived! We’re so heartbroken by the loss of our friend but are truly blessed for having her in our lives when we did. Mary lived “No Ordinary Life” as the title of her book explains, and as she was once inspired by our mom…she inspired all of us as well. She will be truly missed by all of us and will forever be part of the Voyageur’s View Family! She will be missed. It seems like we have been waiting forever, but it is finally here.....
We will have Red Lake County Rebel Boys Basketball vs Liberty Classical in the 1st round of the Class A State Tournament at Target Center on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. We will also have the game before it at 3:00 p.m.

A couple of really cool events happening in Red Lake Falls! The Haunted Woods (hosted by former Tubing Instructor Jesse) starts this Friday and The Hytta Autumn Market (the family of another former Tubing Instructor Nick, aka: Cooter - look for him possibly driving the tractor for hay rides) is this Saturday! Come on out and see what Red Lake Falls in the Fall has to offer!

That’s a wrap on the 2025 Season! We had such amazing guests throughout the season and a really great staff, (many moving on to their next chapter who we will miss dearly!) but to all of you we just wanted to say Thank You for spending time with us this season and for making our business so much fun!!! We hope you have an amazing “off season” and cannot wait to see you all again in 2026!!! Thank you for the amazing memories of the 2025 Season!!!
