Bringing Kids Karate to a whole new level in Kingston, Shihan Jonathan Winstral is a 5th degree black-belt in Tenshinkan Karate, as well as a 2nd degree black-belt in Shotokan Karate. Certified in Japan, he is the winner of the 2001 World Karate Championships held in Saitama-Ken, Japan. A direct disciple of Kancho Mamoru Miwa (World Chief Instructor), Shihan Winstral has been awarded the title of

Shibocho (Country Chief) and is the Kancho's highest ranking instructor in the United States. He is also a professional, motivational, and empowerment speaker, working with youth groups and corporations worldwide such as the Young President Organization (Y.P.O.), International Village Camps, The Board of Education, and Woodstock Day School.

Greetings and good morning everyone welcome to Saturday! Unfortunately something came up on my end which precludes me from doing my regular Saturday morning training at the dojo. But I thought to myself what a great opportunity for an alternative. I have been talking for about two weeks now asking many of the students to give me a short clip of whatever it is they’re working on whether it be basics self-defense techniques or Kata. I would like to set up individual time for everybody who sends me through a video to go over whatever it is they’re working on give you an example of possibly want to strive for and give you some pointers on what it is you’re working on!
The best way to alert me that you sent something else to shoot me a text on 845-399-8505 shorter videos can be sent right to the phone, long videos could be sent to my email which is Shihan [email protected]
Students and parents please help me get some group participation I think it will be important thank you, anytime you get the videos through will be fine. Back to regular schedule for Monday, regular meaning what we’ve been doing the last few weeks
