Well… to say that today wasn’t filled with a variety of different emotions would be a lie. Pain, laughter, tears…. These girls and the coaches (and parents) wanted to see them finish out the tournament/season. We only had 8 girls today because of some unfortunate circumstances. They went out and did their best. The last inning Tom told them to go play where ever they wanted (except Lizzy and Kayla). The girls were laughing and having fun. Were we winning the game? No, but it was ok, they were going out in typical Diva fashion. Time had expired and we had bases loaded. Morgan was our last batter. Lizzy (yes I said Lizzy) ended up stealing home to upset the no hitter. What a way to end Diva Ball!!

As the team Mom I will absolutely miss all of the girls, the parents and most of all the Diva family. Tom has been an amazing coach through the years. Pulling off stuff that we all thought was impossible and absolutely nuts. That is what made us who we were. Always a force to be reckoned with. Never backing down or giving up.
