Note to all past and present students...

Starting September 1, 2026, you will have to have live scan finger prints done at the time of renewal. This is new, and the stat will charge an additional fee. We don't know what that fee is just yet, as the state hasn't released that information to anyone yet.

So, if you are able, you might consider taking the August 9 class. You can not take a renewal class more than 90 day ahead of your expiration date.

Also note that starting January1, 2027, CCW permits will go to a 3 year renewal instead of 2 years.
