Good run over the past 4 days at the PG National World Series in Marietta, GA. Out of 84 teams, the ✖️boys were able to win our pool and took the 13 seed into the Gold Bracket where we lost to 15th ranked Midland Southwest out of Texas.

These tournaments remind us why we put in MONTHS of preparation — to compete against the best. They also are an incredible treat for the boys as they enjoy competing against players from all over the country. Now we look towards the most grueling events of them all — Perfect Game Invitational in Southaven, MS July 6-11.

#23 Deacon Stephenson

Primary Position: OF

Walk up Song: Mimosa 2000

Favorite Baseball Memory: Pitching a shutout in his last travel ball tournament in Virginia before moving to Tennessee.

Coach’s Thoughts: Deacon is a fresh face to the eXposure group this year and he has had a great impact on our overall depth in the OF and to our pitching staff. He is a great athlete with good speed to help cover a lot of ground in the outfield! On the mound he provides our team with a solid left handed arm and has grown a tremendous amount in his poise and control throughout the season. Offensively he always finds a way to get on base or extend an inning, whether that’s by getting a hit, drawing a walk, or even getting hit by a pitch!

PG Bluegrass Super Regional NIT Runner-Up!

Proud of these boys for playing 7+ hours straight of baseball yesterday with no breaks and giving it their all. We came up short in the championship, but left it all on the field! It was a great weekend with every player contributing in a big way!

#5 Griffin Steele

Primary Position: INF

Walk up Song: Andy Mineo & Wordsplayed Dunk Contest

Favorite Baseball Memory: Making a deep run at PGI last season and being top 10 in hitting.

Coach’s Thoughts: Griffin’s athleticism is at the forefront of his baseball skill set. He possesses the ability to play three infield positions at a high level and his speed and quickness allows him to play the outfield at a high level as well. Offensively, he is capable of hitting a lot of doubles with good gap power and is a menace on the base paths! He is loved by his teammates and his work ethic and passion for improvement is admired by his coaches!
