Not the number we wanted for Gozer the Destructor. Still, she qualified at her state tournament to make it to Nationals her first year of competition. Now we regroup and recover and get ready to do it better next season.

Gozer went to town on the 10-ring last night at practice with a 280. 145 at 10m (about 5 points over our goal) and 135 at 15m (exactly our goal). Sharpening up for the state qual this weekend!

A 50 at 15 today in warm ups and a very nice 267 for her tournament score. Her lane mate today is one of the best high school archers in the state and she shot well with him. It also helps that he is a fantastic competitor and pretty nice kid. Congrats, Gozer the Destructor!

Week day practice time here at RBAAS. Progress being made. 5 10s on Monday vs 12 on Tuesday. Even though the photo is only a scorecard, when she missed (outside the 10 ring) she missed in consistently the same area. This is an aim point issue, and we’re working on it.
