⚠️ Important Facility Update ⚠️

Due to an unexpected issue with our hot water boilers, hot water is currently unavailable in showers and sinks throughout the facility.

The good news: ✅ Our pool heaters are separate from this system and remain fully operational.

Our maintenance team is on-site and working diligently to restore hot water as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we address this issue.

We appreciate our YMCA community!

💙 Understanding Medicare doesn’t have to feel overwhelming!

The Burbank YMCA is partnering with the Mystic Valley Aging Services SHINE Program for a Medicare Workshop: Using the Plan Finder on Medicare.gov.

⏰ 11:30 AM–12:30 PM
📍 Burbank YMCA, 36 Arthur B. Lord Dr., Reading

During the workshop, participants will learn how to:
🔹 Navigate the Medicare website
🔹 Review Medicare plan details
🔹 Enroll in a new plan
🔹 Set up a Medicare.gov account and understand its benefits

Participants will also receive a helpful document to make navigating the website from home easier.

Come learn, ask questions, and gain tools to help you navigate Medicare more confidently!

Laurel Kluge died of breast cancer at age 49 🩷

She was much more than just her disease. She a beloved member of the Burbank YMCA, a wonderful wife, a loving mother, and a friend to all.

Join us in honoring her at the Burbank YMCA on 10/4 at 9AM for the Laurel Kluge 5K. All proceeds will go towards our PINK program, a class that provides a supportive, welcoming space exclusively for women recovering from breast cancer.

Think PINK and join us at our Laurel Kluge 5K on 10/4 as part of our 5K Race Series! 🩷

Laurel was a beloved member of the Burbank YMCA community. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at 49. All proceeds of the race will support Burbank Y’s PINK Program, a weekly exercise class for women recovering from breast cancer.
