Woman Of Value -WoV
🚫STOP SCROLLING FOR A MOMENT...
🌟 DECLARE. PREPARE. POSITION. PURSUE. 🌟
Can I tell you what God did this week?
Yesterday morning, after my devotional time and meditation, I made a declaration:
✨ "Today is a day of new opportunities and new experiences."
I didn't know what would happen.
I didn't know where an opportunity would come from.
I simply spoke what I was believing for.
Then I picked up my phone.
And there it was.
📱
"Good morning Nadia! Are you interested in an available role at our company?"
I could not believe it. 😮
Opportunity had shown up before lunch.
But then something happened that many of us experience.
As I reviewed the job description, I noticed there was one qualification I didn't have.
Immediately, doubt tried to speak louder than faith.
Have you ever been there?
You pray for the opportunity.
The opportunity arrives.
Then fear convinces you that you're not enough.
For a moment, I considered not applying.
Then I remembered that powerful question God asked Moses "What is in your hand?" So I asked myself:
Nadia, what do you have in your hands?
He has already equipped me with gifts, experiences, transferable skills, and strengths that have prepared me for this season.
So instead of focusing on the qualification I lacked, I focused on the value I could bring. Woman Of Value -WoV
I updated my resume.
I highlighted my leadership experience.
My coaching expertise.
My student success work.
My learning and development background.
And then...
I hit submit.
This morning, before my feet touched the floor, I made another declaration:
✨ "Today I expect new doors to open and new positive opportunities."
A few hours later, I checked my email.
There it was.
📧
An invitation for a first-round interview.
WON'T HE DO IT!!! 🙌🏽 (That was not a question.)
Now before someone says, "It was just a coincidence..."
Let me say this. There something powerful that happens when faith, preparation, and action come into alignment.
Here's what this experience reminded me:
Many people declare.
Fewer prepare.
Even fewer position themselves.
And too many never pursue.
We want the blessing.
But we don't always prepare for the opportunity attached to it.
We pray for open doors.
But are we preparing ourselves to walk through them?
As an advocate for connection, I've learned that one of the most important connections we can make is this:
❤️ Connect your faith to your actions.
❤️ Connect your vision to your preparation.
❤️ Connect your prayers to your pursuit.
❤️ Connect your expectations to your effort.
Because when faith and action walk together, extraordinary things can happen.
Today, I want to encourage someone who may be doubting themselves.
Apply for the thing.
Start the business.
Launch the ministry.
Take the class.
Submit the proposal.
Send the resume.
Make the call.
Knock on the door.
You may not have everything.
But you may already have enough to take the next step.
And that step could change everything.
