God and His son Jesus Christ saved me from death more than once. They brought me back as a servant with a clear purpose. I've experienced 48 years of combat without being hit, and over 100,000 have witnessed it. The Lord Jesus Christ protected me, gave me a purpose, unique skills, and made me a servant. I can't begin to tell you how good it feels to have purpose and to be of use for the Lord. Being battle-tested means being physical and spiritual. That takes fighting experience, hardship, pain, suffering, and sickness. The blessing is that the Lord keeps picking me up, shaking me off, and making me better, wiser, spiritually stronger, physically and mentally stronger, and different. For example, a good fighter can win a fight outside or inside the ring. However, when dealing with gang bangers or people carrying guns, if challenged, you have one option: to accept the challenge. If you use your power and hurt their homie, one or two things will happen: you'll either get gang-banged or shot. You have to fight without being hit or using a powerful blow. That has been my experience. That's a fine line, and a powerful punch will not save you. It takes good defense, counterattack options without destruction. However, showing the opponent that they could be destroyed without hurting them is key. I've been a servant and a protector for many years. The Lord Jesus Christ blessed me with a school that's been open for 28 years and a unique, unbelievable fighting gift. I thought I was a master of Kung Fu, but near-death experiences, sickness, and a sense of hopelessness hit me. It was not my training or skill that got me up and off that deathbed. It was the love of God Christ, prayers, faith, and courage. That is my power; it's grounded in love. It's like having the shield of justice and the sword of defense. The gang bangers could've killed me, but didn't. They couldn't understand why or how my defenses could be so devastating to the arms, wrist, and back of the hand bones. Now, at 67, it's even more fun to have the skill and youthfulness to still be fighting. I have students from 3 to 82, and it feels so good to be able to help them.
