When your Delta Airlines pilot announces we are pulling up to our D gate, "D as in dog" he says...

For shame... May your sock slide down and form a wrinkle.

Got to my next gate as my group was boarding. Canada, here we come!

Ep 102 is live and kicks off Season 6 of the Adult Onset Horsemanship Podcast. Ivy Starnes is a gaited horse clinician who uses her training in natural and classical dressage, as well as trick and clicker training to bring out a gaited horse's natural movement. She believes that they should gait readily on a loose rein and can be trained bitless or in a simple snaffle. She's all about balance and suppleness as opposed to poor postures and huge reinforced bits and I'm here for it. Listen and learn.

As always, you can find the episode by simply searching "Adult Onset Horsemanship" on your favorite podcast directory like Apple podcasts, Spotify, Youtube, Podbean, and Amazon Music. Be sure to rate, comment, and follow for more great content.

Do you think it's possible that the songs "It's Raining Men" and "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" are about the same event, just from 2 different perspectives?

Having the answers is cool, but knowing what question to ask is cooler.

You're not following me and other horse trainers by accident. You're trying to improve and understand more. Maybe you're in a pickle and in over your head? Maybe you're safe, but not content and you know there's potential you can't yet reach with your horse?

I'd like to help. Let's set up a virtual lesson, or talk about a clinic in your area. We're booking for 2027 clinics and events right now. I'd love to do more 3-4 day bit courses. Do you want to stay stagnant or are you ready to make some serious progress?
